My wife submitted her application on 14th October 2013 and was under process on 31st October.

Since the last email on 31st October I have not had any reply.

I am reading on here that alot of you are being asked for extra docs.

I have not emailed anyone to chase up the application.

What should I do wait or ask?

And when should I expect a reply?

Anyone else in this situation?

Thanks

And may Allah help us all.

Salaam All,

Any members who have received RFC out there? It seems pretty quiet in the last two weeks. Duas for everyone.

I am very amazed to see that Sameena Akhter and Hello786 are still waiting for the RFC, i think that is totally unfair to you people to wait that long.May ALLAH will make it easy for you and u will get your visas soon.

I havent heard anything. They dont have the decency or the courtesy to let us know if its on hold or what. They dont reply to emails.

In sha Allah we all hear soon.

March is round the corner, I'm going to guess and say they're going to decline every application that doesn't meet the requirement after march. Using excuses to take their time and allow March to come and pass.

It's a absolute disgrace. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at the applications and realise which meet, and which don't meet the requirement.

hi guys - i was just wondering if someone could help on this - i know its not directly related to the 'timeline' thing, just a question out there for anyone..

if ur salary changes month to month due to bonus/commission/overtime, how do they calculate ur annual salary? am i correct in thinking its the 6 months total of gross pay, divide it by 6, then times by 12?

thanks in advance..

To Zaman

I think you should wait. We heard back 15 weeks after submitting application to let us know our application is on hold and to submit extra documents. I also never emailed anyone, just waited.
Submitted Application: Feb 2012
Application Refused: Jul 2012
Appealed: Unsuccessfull
Reapplied: 27th Sep 2013
Application hold - Jan 2014
RFC: 26th August 2014
Result: Alhamdulillah Visa Granted - All thanks to Allah and your prayers

Hi Zaman1989

I submitted my application on 21st October 2013 and was under process on 1st November 2013. Just like you I have not heard anything at all since 1st November, I've not contacted anyone either. To be honest after reading this forum and hearing that some people having been waiting 6 months or so, I'm not expecting anything soon, but if it does come sooner I'll be greatful.

I gave my case in on 21st October 2013, 90 working days from then works out on 27th Febuary 2014, so I thik I'll jut wait till then and hopefully heard a reply.

If you applied on 14th October 2013, 90 working days from then works out to be on 19th Febuary 2014, I think you should just wait till then and I hope and do dua that you will hear by then. I honestly do think they will be in contact by then whether it's a decision or to ask for extra documents.
