AN form and overspeeding points

Post by saudbs » Tue Jan 28, 2014 11:58 pm

Hello Seniors

I hope someone can help me here!

I have overspeeding points on my licence :) . Now

section 3.8 of AN form asks "if you have any civil judgement or civil penalty against you?"

and section 3.10 ask "if you have received any cautions, warnings or reprimands ?"

Can someone please tell me under which category does overspeeding falls?

Thanks,
A

Did you receive a FPN from the Police or did you go to Court/plead guilty by post?

I received FPN from the court and paid penalty within due date, never went to court.

It was back in 2009 and I don't have any letter now.

Don't know if I was pleaded guilty or not. However I do remember it was written if I pay penalty then I don't need to attend court and I paid penalty got away with that.

I will be eligible to remove point on 10/14 not before that.

Sounds like just a FPN. Include a copy of your driving licence paper counterpart with your application.

As per the rules if you have more than 2 FPN in last 12 months then you have to disclose that. NCS asked my counterpart for my FPN but I didn't carry that, then they gave me a paper to sign that I don't have more than 2 FPN in last 1 yr. So carry your counterpart to prove number of FPN you have and when.

thanks for reply both, but my question is, does it come under 3.8 or 3.10?

section 3.8 of AN form asks "if you have any civil judgement or civil penalty against you?"

and section 3.10 ask "if you have received any cautions, warnings or reprimands ?"
