FLR(HSMP) current processing time

Post by HSMPreqJun07 » Tue Jul 03, 2007 9:48 pm

Did anybody apply lately for the FLR(HSMP) - the initial application not the extension one.

Would like to know how long it might take. They said 5 to 9 weeks when I called them but I'm hoping it takes less

Hiya,

I submitted my passport for FLR(HSMP) application 2 weeks ago. To be exact on 19th June 2007. Hoping to get it soon. I have 2 friends who got it in less than 3 weeks.

Thanks for this info. I sent mine on the 25th. So let's keep each other updated. I'm really hopping to get it back before the 19th otherwise I will have to delay my trip :?

My cred card was debited on the 20th June and I'm still waiting. I'm hoping there aren't delays as I need my passport in a few weeks. :(

Posted initial FLR(HSMP) on 25th June.

Post by zap2deeps » Fri Jul 06, 2007 11:16 pm

Hi All,

I posted my in-country first time FLR(HMSP) on the 23rd of June. I got a confirmation letter stating my payment has been cleared on the 25th. So it's round about the same time... just waiting (im)patiently. :-).

Posted with my application
- Approval Letter
- Passport and Work Permit (currently in country on work permit visa)

- Letter from Employer for 12 month net and gross salary.
- Payslip for 12 months.
- Savings bank account for 12 months.
- Crude rent agreement (just a printed page with my and landlord's signs).

I did not post my current account statement which worries me a bit. What do you guys think?

Deepak

As long as the Saving Bank Account statement covers the most recent period and has sufficient funds there should not be an issue. The fact that you are already on a work permit (& are working - I am presuming this), there should not be a problem with the application....

Deepak,

I think as long as your saving account is showing regular transfers it shouldn't be a problem. It would be if it's coming in one transfer (they might wonder where the money is coming from)

I actually made a mistake and didn't send the rent agreement, so they just sent me a letter asking for this document. I will send it on Monday and hope it won't delay my application for much longer.

Maybe it worth giving them a call on Monday, they might be working on your case.

Hi Guys,

I am working in London on Work Permit. And my savings account has regular deposits every month over the 12 month period.

Thank you all. I will keep you posted on my application outcome.

All the Best Naj.

Thanks Deepak,

I just called and my case worker told me my application was approved and my documents are on their way :-D

If you haven't received yours yet, I think you should call them just to make sure nothing is blocking there.

All the best,
Naj

Received my stamped passport back today.
The date on the enclosed letter was 9th July.

Sent in my application on 27th June, along with:
- 3 months worth of bank statements (only had 2000 pounds in the account)
- letter from my employer stating my starting date and annual salary
- account details of the shares i have invested in

Good luck everyone.

Amber,

Because I didn't send the Rent agreement, my case wroker sent me a letter to ask me for this doc, he included his details in the letter. I guess you can ask for your case worker contact from the hotline

Hi guys,

I got my initial approval for HSMP, I am in country applicant on fresh talent Visa and working in London.

My question is: How much do I need to show in my back account when applying for FLR(HSMP) currently I have around 1000/- Pounds in account.

I am on permanent employment of 33000 P.A, will my pay slips, employer letter and 1000/- pounds in account will be enough or do I need to add some more money.

2 Q) Do I need to send my tenancy agreement ?

thanks in advance,
Regards
Kaz

I am working in Scotland.

If you working in England and if you are planning to switch either WP or HSMP than it might be a problem.

Thanks

I am in UK for the last 2.5 years on a work permit. My saga goes this way:

HSMP Application filed: 29th July 2007
HSMP reference # received: 03rd July 2007
Approval date: 17th July 2007

I am applying for FLR within UK. What are the documents that I need to submit? I called up the HO and the rep. told me to submit only the documents below:

1. 2 passport size photos duly signed.
2. Current passport
3. Filled up signed form "flrhsmpapril07.doc"
4. Last 3 months wage slips or Bank logbook or Bank statement.
5. Original HSMP Approval letter (she did not mention this but I think its logical to send them the approval letter)

Under point 4, I am planning to submit only the last 3 months original wage slips that come via post every month. Should that be fine since the rep. told that they already have my records and do not require any more documents?
Has anyone got lucky with submitting only these documents?
Thank you for your time!!!

Here is my case:

* In-country application.
* HSMP approved back in June
* FLR (HSMP) application mailed on 10th July
* Credit card charged 3 days later.
* A letter came in about 7 days later with reference number
* Passport returned on 27th July in recorded mail, 17 days in total.

The materials I sent:

* FLR (HSMP) form
* passport / police certificate / photo
* passport / police certificate / photo of my wife
* marriage certificate
* 3 latest pay slips
* 3 latest bank statements (salary entries highlighted)
* HSMP approval letter
* a document to prove my current work permit status

Hope this is helpful.
