TTOE-
You have pulled
this information from the MN1 timeline thread. A Google search reveals this is from a
2011 FOI request for an MN1 application.
I am not sure how relevant this is to a non-MN1 application, but this is just my opinion.

Wow! @ trigger - you are very correct and thanks for the FOI link, the two processes i.e. Adult Naturalisation (AN) and Minor N. (MN) are to some extent similar but in MN instance I believe criminal & TAX checks are not key to the outcome. This link kind of give you a rough idea of what happens with your application at the big house. My thought!
Thanks trigger.

Dear all,
I am applying for naturalisation next month, but there is technical problem I want to resolve:
Me and my wife both are on ILR. The question is that if we apply as joint applicant what would be the status of my wife?
1: she will be consider as a spouse of British citizen and her qualifying period will be on 3 years based?
OR
2: she will be consider on her merits and the residential qualifying period will on 5 years based?
please if any one can guide me because its going to make a lot of difference.
I got my ILR on 10 years and my wife is with me for 8 years.
Many thanks

Hi England135, Please open a separate new topic for this. The current topic is for posting timelines only. I'm sure someone will respond quickly to the new topic. Thanks.
