Register as director within 3 months of application

Hi all,

I am apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneur via the PSW £50,000 route.

I do not understand the clause saying

You were, on a date no earlier than three months prior to the date of application, registered a new business in which you are director.

I registered my business and as a director on 11 Nov 2013, when should I apply? Before 10 Feb 2014 or after 10 Feb 2014?

Does it mean that:
If I submit my application after 10 Feb 2014, I am not fulfilling it anymore?

or

It means that I have to allow 3 months after registering a business after I submit my application?


Could anyone please help me? My lawyer has never explained this to me despite me asking a few times. I a still getting my documents ready and I am worrying that I might miss the deadline.

1st of all I would like to say that get rid of that so called lawyer you have chosen. If you are in initial stage then this is the right time. It means you have to apply with in 3 months of your company registered date. If still confuse Pm me.

Well, when you say after 3 months can be ok but on the guidlines they prefer within a 3 months. You must have to start trading or other business activity if you do after 3 months. Hopefully you can understand this time.
