Hi all,

I've completed my HSMP & FLR(HSMP) in country application in about 4 weeks. It's pretty good, as long as your documents are all legit then there should be no problem.

1) Documents sent to Home Office: 4 June 2007
2) HSMP approval received: 14 June 2007
3) FLR(HSMP) + passport sent to Home Office: 19 June 2007
4) Passport received back: 5 July 2007

Good luck for everyone. Just read the guidance carefully and you should not have any problems.

Cheers,
PQ

Hi,

My application reached on 29th June. And my credit card has also been charged on 30th June. But I've received no communication from them. I called them on 6th of June. They gave me the reference no. but didn't tell me the status.

However, with the recent happenings in UK, I've heard that they are more closely watching HSMP applications. Therefore, I expect that it would take longer time than before.

Any comments?

Thanks.

Hi,

I am a new member. heres my timeline. In Country application.
Application Sent: 15/06/2007
Reference Number Recd: 19/06/2007
Urgent Treatment sent : 25/06/2007
Case Worker Assigned: 28/06/2007

Just called to see the progress. I have been informed "Waiting for Decision". When I asked further is there any time limit how long it will take. She informed me that they have information from the case worker that it will be done by the end of July. Can anyone please tell me what is causing the delay?

FLR(HSMP) Approved 19 July

Post by fifers » Thu Jul 19, 2007 10:32 am

Hello,

I was approved under the alternative scheme for people who set up a business. My application was received by the Home Office on the 3rd of July and I received my stamped passport back today, 19 July.

My LLR is for 3 years but the accompanying letter pointed out that I can apply for indefinite leave to remain next year (I've been here on this HSMP visa for 4 years).

The HSMP team seems to be doing a good job of turning around applications. I hope this helps calm some people's nerves. I know I've been rather nervous these last few weeks.

Cheers,

Ryan

(Sorry - I had the date they received my application incorrectly as 8th June. I don't know where I got that date from!)

I just want to let you guys know the good news that my HSMP application was approved.

I sent my application on 26th June

Received by Home Office on 28th June

Payment deducted from credit card 29 of June

Did no hear anything from them

Called up Home Office yesterday. They told me that my application was approved on 12th July.

Unfortunately, they have dispatched my documents by simple post on 12th of July even though I mentioned in my covering letter that I will arrange a courier.

As of now I'm waiting for my approval letter and my original documents.

Cheers,
Vikas

Hello people,

I wish to share the good news with all of you that I've got my HSMP approval letter yesterday. I was bit nervous as HO sent my documents by Royal Mail despite my request for informing me to arrange a courier.

But anyways, I've got all my documents safely. It took 12 days for the packet to reach me after departing from UK.

I'm now preparing my documents for EC. Will keep you guys posted on my progress.

This forum has been extremely helpful for me. So will be for all other aspirants. I will be more than happy to answer any queries especially for those planning to send the initial application as I've crossed that stage. Please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Vikas
