Visa confirmed today!

I applied from the UAE and it was very quick. I submitted my online application on Sunday, went into the office to submit my paperwork and biometrics on Monday, and received confirmation this morning (Thursday) that the visa has been issued! No interview was required. I didn't submit a full business plan but I did submit a two page summary of the business and I focused on demonstrating alignment between that business and my professional background.

The most difficult part for me was finding a bank who was willing to issue a letter containing confirmation that were regulated by the Central Bank. After visiting branch after branch of three different banks, I finally managed to find someone who could issue the letter.

The business is a consulting/ professional services firm specialising in the regulation of energy markets. I didn't put anything about the location in the business summary I provided with the application. Funding is via the 200K+ route with no business partners.

Dear Monkeymooface

I am in UAE and trying to apply as well but the Visa Officer has asked me to provide a letter where the bank mentions that the bank is regulated and that the funds are transferable to the UK.
I contacted my bank (ENBD) but they refused to change a single word in the STANDARD letter that they provide, which i had submitted along my visa application already.

Kindly suggest me what to do ..

is there any other bank that would provide me that letter
