Don't confuse ur self with the return address like CGP14-1, the return address is different for different batch of applications, When i got my approval, i was the same confused like u

Just send them the fee. GNIB card and pics with the copy of ur approval letter so they would know who have sent it, or may be a small cover letter with your application reference number will be enough.

i don't want to be paranoid but, I haven't sent them copy of my approval letter, but as they requested wrote my reference number at back of my pics. is it important to send them copy of approval letter, since they didn't request it? Thanks in advance

I didn't send the letter too, I just wrote my ref. at the back of the picture, the bank draft aswel. I pray the ceremony is early April. I am away till 1st April.....congrats to everyone

Someone pls clarify this for me,once ur citizenship is approved and a letter is being sent out to you,would they request for your to send your original passport and fee before booking ur citizenship ceremony? or what other documents is to be requested?

once u receive ur approval letter DOJ would be looking for your original GNIB card +Two pictures+950 Euro fees.

Original passport is NOT required.

@ calvin,thx for that,in case of an eu national and no gnib,how does he fill the residency calculation online? and also,can he get his irish passport with a certified copy from eu treaty right? as they've lost it and he's not too keen to go home for the processing,embassy says it might take up to 3 months to get it.Would they accept a certified copy issued by eu treaty right with an accompanied letter by them to say that they've seen and verified the original and they've lost it by post.thx

I applied in late July last year, got approval on the 28th Jan 2014
my mate applied in late Aug last year, and he got approval on the 29th Jan 2014

even surprisely, I know people who applied in Aug last year, got approval in last Nov, so the processing is faster than we expected

My best friend received his ref number on 28th October
Approved 28 Jan

Please can anyone help me. I contacted the citizenship help line sometime in January in which i was told my application was at the advanced stage of processing after i submitted the further documents requested in November but recently a week ago i get an reply stating:-

Your application continues to be processed and will be submitted to the minister for decision as expeditiously as possible. it is not possible to give an exact time frame.

Am i being put back on a long waiting list again or what. I applied in december 2011. I did have a traffic offence and was brought to court but the case was ruled out and i sent them the copies of the orders when they requested for further documents in october 2013.

I will appreciate if anyone could help me on this thanks

ceremony in march 2013 was on 11th, some people say that it was end of march 2013, i guess this is more accurate. hopefully there will be one ceremony in mid-march 2014 !

Finally 24 month and 6 days I got my approvalafter a long wait..... specialy this timewhere people got approvalvery fast....

it was wrttine on the 4 of feb and I received it on the 6 of Feb... I sent every thin they want same day

Congratulation man this is really good news, thanks for updating us, true 24 months is long wait but its worth it at the end , this is also good news for us , this mean that's still few of approval letters will be send in the coming days to those are in advanced stage like my self and pakistan11.

Not yet still waiting, hope we will have both good news by the end of this week. I think we still have a chance to receive the approval letter and attend the next coming ceremony.
