Overspeeding and parked on bus stop for Naturalisation

Post by Itiswell » Sat Feb 08, 2014 4:54 pm

Hello helpers,

I kindly need some advice.

I over sped by 8 miles, drave 38 miles on 30 miles road in 2011 at night and got caught by speed camera, was asked to pay a fine and attend a speed awareness course which I did immediately. The 2012 I had a quick stop on a bus stop for my wife to pick up some cash from the ATM but I got caught by the bexley borough camera fixed on their car, i paid the fine immediately. There was court issue on any of the two offences

My questions are
- WIll the two traffic offence work against my naturalisation approval?
- Should i declare the two offence?
- Can I declare only the over spending?

I will appreciate any advice and how to go about it.

Thanks

Hello! dude!

Fixed Penalty charges and parking fines are excluded, and you paid it out swiftly so they are closed now, but why still worry!!?? You got assurance now ...go enjoy a drink!

Hello Vin123,

Thanks for your feedback.

Am concern because the naturalisation guide and booklet says to declare the FPN, PCN.

I called the police helplines who says the FPN does not form part of person criminal record.

Should I state them on my application or live them out and will there be any consequence like refusal if I don't include them?

Very confusing as the guidance note is not very clear on it.

Thanks

I don't know why you keep worrying about that silly FPN and parking charge. Once paid , they are closed. Get over with it.

FIXED PENALTY AND PARKING FINES ARE EXCLUDED, so that does not have to be included in the application form.

Fyi, there are about 25 million motorist in the UK and more than half of them get issued at least once with an FPN or parking fine.
