Confusion regarding continuity of residence

Post by logical_1 » Wed Feb 12, 2014 7:49 am

Dear members I was wondering if some one could explain the continuity of residence according to the directive.
As far as I know a person is allowed to be out of a member state for upto 6 months in a year. However, a single absence is allowed for 12 months for important reasons such as study, military service etc.
My question is that If I am out of the country for 12 months,do I have to be in the country for next full 4 years (48 months) inorder to get PR or can I be out for 6 months every year once I have stayed out for 12 months?
Your answers will be highly appreciated.
Did u sell your soul for a mere stack?
