Alhamdulillah, I received my approval letter yesterday. Day before yesterday a guy at HO scared me by saying that a letter is being sent out to you today. I thought there is refusal or query. But thanks to ALLAH it was approval with rest of documents. I applied on 23rd Sep and BIO done on 15th October. will update skydrive later on.

Best of luck to every who are waiting.

Biometrics letter received: 22nd Oct
Biometrics done:22nd Oct.
Approval letter with documents: 13th Feb.
BRP waiting.
This forum has been a very good source of information. Now i will try to apply setm for my wife as she is my pbs dependent since 2009 so old rules apply. How much is the minimum maintenance required and for how long. If any one has an idea(e.g. £500, £800 etc) and which peo is good.
At the end best wishes to all those who r still waiting.

My biometric was done on 27/11/2013.

Applied : 30/09/2013
Date on approval letter is 11/02/2014

Some of fellows think that applications are in sequence of date of submission of biometrics. I dont seem to agree with that . I think its in order of date of application sent.

Hi,

I have to clarify a point.

I understand that for ILR application on ten years basis , one should not be out of UK more than 180 days in a year. Is there any guidline which says , it should not be more than 90 days in one go ??

not clear about it

Please comment in light of your experience and knowledge.

In Croydon they stop doing direct set(m) if you get ILR on long residence base then u have to apply for flr(m) and then set(m), some one successfuly get ILR on set(m) in Sheffield peo.i myself get ILR in Croydon but submit and pay for both flr and then set(m) same day but they simply stop doing this .

As I was doing my regular routine of checking new posts from today, the post arrived- I finally received my approval letter! :D Though I have been a silent reader, I have found this forum invaluable and an absolute blessing for all of us anxiously waiting during this extremely difficult time. So a special thank you to you all for making me feel that I am not in this alone!

My timeline is as below so please update it on Skydrive:
App Date: 30/09/13
Ack Letter: 09/10/13
Bio Letter/Done: 22/10/13
Approval: 13/02/14 (date on letter 06/02/14)
BRP: I received a letter through the post from DX saying that they had attempted to deliver it today (even though I was in the house!) I re-arranged delivery for tomorrow

Once again, thank you all for posting on this forum regularly and I wish the best of luck to everyone else who is waiting. You will get there soon! :)
