Post by guly3 » Sun Jul 08, 2007 7:05 pm

Hi,
I am on an HSMP visa for the last 3 years and am getting married later this year. I wanted to find out which form I would need to fill up to get visa for my spouse?

Thanks in advance for your help

Can you please inform us about her current VISA status and nationality?
If she is in India, then she will need to fill the VAF-1 form as HSMP dependent.

regards,

Hi guly3,
You need to fill in vaf 1 form for your spouse.
Your spouses passport and some photos. Rest of the docs will be from ur side, like tenancy agreement in uk, gas bill, salary slips, passport photocopies. marriage certificate.

Can someone please suggest what is the visa fee for dependents?

I have a family of 2+2. How much visa fee will I have to pay?

Same as that for the main applicant (in India) i.e around INR 17000+ per head. If you are applying from UK for FLR, the fee is charged just for the main applicant (around GBP 350) .

Thanks for all your answers. I am from Pakistan, but I take it they would have the same form to fill up. I hope all goes fine with it. Does anybody knows the local fees in Pakistan?

Thanks

What happens after ILR

Post by guly3 » Tue Jul 10, 2007 12:36 pm

On another note, I am entitled to get ILR in May next year and I am getting later this year. Would my wife be eligible for ILR alongwith?

Thanks
Gul

Hi Push,
Congrats on ur visa...I was curious...I'll be using the VAF 1 for my EC, I am planning to apply for my wife as well at the same time.

1) Would she also need to get Integra Verification
2) Should i use the VAF1 or VAF2 form for her
3) Can I show assets that are there on both her and my name? Or Only on my name

Please let me know

Thanks

Da
