ILR P60 for 5 year or last year only

Post by sak20099 » Tue Jan 14, 2014 7:56 pm

Hi All,

I have a question, is it required to provide P60 for whole 5 years or only last year, if someone did not do any job in the first year and was not economically active and cannot provide P60, does still qualify for ILR ? conidering absenses are less than 180 days in a year.

appreciate response.

I am in the same position. Can someone help please?

Is p60 must? My absents are less than 100 in last 5 years. Its very difficult to get p60 from all the employers.

It's not mandatory. If you were not active in first year that doesn't matter. As Tier 1 scheme was for the people with qualifications to get in to UK and search for job. Some people were not lucky enough to get the job within couple of months after landing. So it should be fine.

I got my ILR approved (Posted here: http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tie ... 58176.html) today.

Did not submit any P60's, i just had a NI contribution letter from HMRC saying i had paid my NI for last 4 yrs. And I completely agree with SmartKhan wherein I dont think you need anything for the first year.
