Hello,
Sorry guys, this question as been asked by many people so far but still I cant get around it. Its regarding the 28 days rule.
My case is:
TIER 1 general got approved (valid from) : 01/04/2009
Applied Tier 1 initially from outside UK (India) .
Entered UK on 06/04/2009 ( six days later)
Extended Tier 1 after 3 years inside UK in 2012
My visa expires on 01/04/2014
Please could someone say me from which date I can start attending appointment, is it 04th of March, or 5th of march (these above dates are calculated from my visa expiry date).
OR 10th of march or 11th of march (this is considering my 1st entry into UK 6th of April 2009).
Immigration board topic ""FAQs for ILR - WP/Tier 2/HSMP/Tier 1 - Read before posting""" says
E.g. If someone got Tier 1 visa from out of UK on 1st February 2006 and entered the UK for first time on 20th June 2006, then ILR clock starts from 20th June 2006.
I am not sure from which date I can book. There is a 90 days concession period mentioned as well and the above example is calculated from 1st entry, not sure which one is correct for my case. As no dates are available in Glasgow which is the nearest centre I would have to book somewhere south of England as I am based in Aberdeen. I would have to book the hotels, train in advance as well so that I don't miss the dates and hopefully get somewhat cheaper deals. I don't want to wrongly book all these stuffs as these are somewhat costly at this stage.
It will be highly helpful if some gurus can help me with this appointment date. Thank you all for your valuable time in replying to this query.
