Hi guys,
I have Just called to HO. they have sent parcel yesterday to my solicitor and they gave me Tracking no ....
I have checked with royalmail, it is still showing ' Information on your Item is not yet available Online'
Please pray for me.

I have called to 01516725626 > Option 1 > option 2 > Option 2. First time they have transferred me to Croydon because they said they do not deal with this types of case. After 10 minutes I called again and they said you called few minutes before and we told you that we do not deal with This types of case. Very politely, I Told that person that you have transferred me but I have been disconnected. No body answering the phone ! Then he said wait ! If I can ask someone to deal with case.

Then He gave me some wrong information ( Submit date etc) about my application. I told him it is not matching because I have applied in October where he said in December !

Anyway he has apologised and provided me correct information and also he has provided me the Delivery address for my solicitor !

NOW IT IS WAITING TIME ! DO NOT kNOw HOW LONG ! JUST SHAKING !!!

To all senior members of this forum. I got a very important question please answer it. It will be help full for all new members as well.
The question is? As I have mentioned on the 17 feb that I got ilr on LR BASIS.
Now I am confuse what to apply for my wife.
She is living in uk with me from 2008.she came to uk first AS my student dependent then she got psw dependent and now she is on
Tier1 G dependent till 2016.she has got liuk and English test pass ceritificates as well.
Can I apply direct on set m for her indefinite or I need to do flrm first.
Or do I need to really go to Sheffield as some people say that they approve
Set M in such cases straight away.
Please reply and give us some good suggestions.
Thanks. :D

I am still in shock, I got back from work and didnt bother checking my post because I thought whats the point I will not get my visa.

Then I just happened to check my letterbox just now when I went down to put the trash and I GOT MY APPROVAL LETTER AND DOCUMENTS

I just dont understand it!? I called them up on Friday and they said my case hasn't been allocated to caseworker, but the date of approval on my letter is 14th Feb which was Friday!! so either they gave me the wrong information, or they immediately checked my application and posted it that evening LOL

I am still in shock, I dont know what to feel.. but I am finally free!! my wait ends today. I need to sleep and wake up tomorrow to let this sink in, Im here holding the letter in my hand and I am just blank in my mind, because this is so unexpected!

It took almost exactly 5 months, now just waiting for my BRP

All the best to those who are waiting, especially esmsi, and all the September applicants that are outstanding, I felt that this day would never come but it has, and it will for all of you too

My timelines -

Application sent: 19/09/2013

Payment Taken: 27/09/2013
Acknowledgement letter: Dated 23/09/2013, received 27/09/2013

Thank you buddy, you will be next :)

Yes, it does come via recorded delivery just in a normal white envelope for me that contained my passport and all my supporting docs that I sent with the application, apart from my cover letter which they kept.

Our apartment complex has a concierge that signed for the delivery and put it in my letter box, I have been at work all day and only just got back. I just posted earlier today that I may have to wait until March lol this really is the best surprise ever!!

Hi guys, I have been following this amazing forum for a while. My time line is as follows:

Application date: 03/10/2013
Biometrics enrollment: 4/11/2013
Biometric card received: 17/02/2014
Documents received: 18/02/2014

Documents sent- LITU, Passport, University certificates, accommodation contracts, bank statements , Cover letter and a table containing the timeline from the start of the visa to present, detailing what I have been doing during the 10 year period and the corresponding addresses where I have resided - (I personally feel that this will enable the caseworker to easily understand your case and your circumstances) and finally an employment letter.
