Thanks Hardikjshah83 and keepwaiting! I hope your ILR arrives soon as well and I am sure it will.

Congratulations to Pervins and esmsi!! your time has finally come :D.. the September applications are flying through now, so good news for the October applications.. there will be more caseworkers to deal with your paperwork now once we are all done.

My advice would be to use this forum to gain whatever knowledge you need but once you have applied and enrolled biometrics, try and get on with your daily life and not worry for the next 4 months. As I mentioned before, the approval trend on skydrive has been pretty accurate and indicates a 4 - 5 month wait.

To all those waiting, try and stay calm and set your expectations sensibly to avoid disappointment and the bad habits I got into by becoming obessive about this forum and the sky drive. These last two weeks I wasn't sleeping properly and got far too stressed about the visa, and that was wrong on my part.

Also, it would be very helpful if everyone could enter their date of application and date of biometric enrollment in their signature, so that we can easily see the relevant information :)

Congratulations to all those who have received their freedom and all the best to those waiting!

My 10 years are completing on 14th of April but i m going to apply on 19th of March, 27 days before the anniversary of my 10 years completion.

I would advise you to apply 28 days before completion as that time will count towards ur application processing time.

I seriously hope so. I think our applications should not take more than 3 months to process. If u look at Skydrive number of applications keep dropping every new month. If we go by that trend there will be less cases to process for caseworkers and that should speed up the process.

Hiall,

Many people have asked this question on whatdotheyknow.com (including myself) however HO refuses to answer because they will be publicly announce the figures very soon.

Looking at the skydrive data(considerating its a sample data) - the main rush was in Sept, Oct & Nov should be the half of the Sept application.

Good Luck :)

Dear all seniors,

I got ILR recently from General Tier 1 route and I wanted to apply settlement for my wife who came January 2012, her visa will be expired on July 2015.
My questions are 1) Which application from I should apply? 2) is there is any deadline whether she should apply within 28 days after received my ILR? 3) if she applied what visa UKBA will provide her ILR or further leave to remain?
I would be very helpful if anyone reply above issues.

thanks

Hello everyone,

I have a question for the senior members. I received my ILR three weeks ago and I have just been offered a job with a british company based in Leicester. The problem is I have to travel out of the country for 3-6 months for training and I will apply for a visa to that country no problems. My question is, will this time away from the UK have an effect on my naturalisation application? Do I have to stay in the UK continuously for 1 year? Even though i'm employed by a UK company that sent me abroad for training? Can I apply for naturalisation Feb2015? Please advise....
