Date of approval : 3-2-2014 - Received letter on 14-2-2014.
Invitation for ceremony appointment: Received letter from council on 15-2-14. Ceremony in the first week of March

Re-posting as we don't seem to be able to edit at the moment. My ceremony is booked. The reason for later ceremony is not the council, it's me. I have travel booked for late March and didn't want to travel between the ceremony and applying for a passport.

Question guys... infact rather silly one though.. I rang HO on thurday to find out the Status of my app which was underprocess still i have nt heard any thing... can I call them to enquire again... is this ok.. or they get a bit nosy if u keep nagging them ?

Hang in there Eureka.Power. When it's all over, it'll seem so trivial. I rang them last week and was told that my application is 'currently incomplete'. Today, they said something is 'waiting to be dispatched' and it's supposedly going to take two weeks to arrive. I really hope it doesn't take that long. Being an immigrant requires the patience of a saint!

Just to inform members on this forum that I received good news today, as my Naturalization application has been approved. I applied via NCS Lewisham on 28/11/13, received by UKBA on 29/11/13 money deducted on 15th January 2014 and got the acknowledgement letter on 17/01/14. The application was approved on 15/02/17 and got the letter today.
I want to use this opportunity to tell people who has got non-custodial criminal conviction to declare it. I was arrested for drink driving in January 2010, banned for 12 months, with 300 pounds fine. It was on this forum that I learnt that the law has changed, that people with non-custodial criminal conviction can apply for Naturalization after 3 years. After posting my conviction on this forum, I was advised by Amber that I will be fine as far as I declare it on my application form, which I did with copy of my driving licence and paper part of it. I am very happy that the waiting is all over. My special appreciation to all Guru's on this site, you are doing wonderful job, I pray for rest people that are waiting for this good news that God in his infinite mercy will grant your request.

I don't know what is going on in home office, I called them 3 days ago and they said they send me a letter cupel of days ago and I should receive it soon, but i haven't send any thing.
I called them today two times and each time they said they haven't send any time and my application is with them.
I am really panicking.

Hi finally I got it. It issued on 15.2.14 but I got it today!!
I have a question, please someone help me with it .
HO returned all my original documents but my life in the UK certificate is not there.
I was wondering to know is this normal they are keeping life in the UK certificate or they forgot to send it back?

Group Citizenship Ceremony was arranged at the end of March by my council but I changed it to a personal one but still it's not quite near . I have seen some members who managed to get a personal ceremony within a week's time which is quite fascinating ... I hate to wait..... Can you tell me how you booked so quickly? or it depends on the volume of ceremony request council is dealing with?
