100% RightFunding in the UK ???
by almagirl » Mon Feb 17, 2014 10:42 pm
Hi
From my understanding third party funding can only be from overseas. If the funds are in the UK then it must be in the applicants own name
I have not read any post saying that My visa was rejected saying "Third Party Funding is not allowed from within UK"Ameer_zyzom wrote:100% RightFunding in the UK ???

Hi

the account must be in your own name only (or both names for an entrepreneurial team £50,000) only. Accounts in the name of a business or third party will not be accepted.
Just from overseasIt is allowed as per my understanding but you require letter on your own name, solicitors verification letter and third party letter and also third party's bank (statement as a proof .additonal not required)
Read a post by Rizwan567 where he got a reply from UKBA saying it is allowed.but YES,there is confusion in Policy Guidence.Ameer_zyzom wrote:Just from overseasIt is allowed as per my understanding but you require letter on your own name, solicitors verification letter and third party letter and also third party's bank (statement as a proof .additonal not required)
My advise to read the rules
Thanks for your reply Ola,,Olasunkanmi wrote:Third party funding is accepted either in UK or anywhere in the world. Why do people say its not acceptable when there is nothing stating that in the immigration rule and policy guidance.

Third party funding is accepted either in UK or anywhere in the world. Why do some people say its not acceptable when there is nothing stating that in the immigration rule and policy guidance.
The above statement simply implies that if you intend to use evidence of funds in UK banks, then you can submit only bank statement for account in your name or joint account (for entrepreneur team) without the need for additional bank letters.and the account must be in your own name only (or both names for an entrepreneurial team) only. Accounts in the name of a business or third party will not be accepted.
Agree with youThe HO statement actually look confusing just as HO have always make series of errors in the policy guidance which were eventually being clarify or amended,
