National Insurance

Hi Experts,

I am Indian on T1 general visa with wife and kids as my dependents.

I have already completed nearly 4years in UK and renewed visa once in 2013. I have been paying National insurance since beginning.

Our visas have 'no public funds' on them. Do I still have to pay NI? even if I don't get any benefits?
