Dependant - Visitor Visa - Advice

Post by zaakiir » Sat Mar 01, 2014 10:32 pm

I was granted 2years PSW visa expired in January 2013. My husband was also offered a dependant visa on my PSW. In September 2013, I started a Masters course less than 12 months, which means I had to switch from PSW to Tier 4 Student Visa. In this way as the course was less than 12 months, my husband was not able to extend his dependant visa. He travelled back home and hoping to come back in the uk in 3 weeks as a visitor. Is there any chance the immigration officer will not allow him in the uk again? While in the uk as my dependant, my husband did not work for any company in the uk and did not pay any tax or NI. However, my husband was employed in a company from back home and was working from home and earn money/pay tax back home. The company does not have any interest/link in the uk but paid my husband's salary in his uk bank account. Has my husband done anything wrong and if asked by the immigration officer when he comes back in the uk, shall we disclose this info.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Eya
