Home office sent me email ....any idea what next

Home office sent me email for some required document on 20th February 2014
Document sent to home office on 25 February 2014
I called HO yesterday for update but they said ...still in process
Any idea guys what will happen now and how long they will take to decided my application

Normally they don't take long time after requesting more documents, It actually means they are active working on your case and you should decision soon. Exactly when it is impossible to say.

Bro depends on your documents you provided. 1st If 3rd party is your sponsor then it takes longer than normal. 2nd If your docs are not done professionally then they start doing investigations e.g can call for interview or send you letters says that your application will take longer than 8 weeks etc. So it varies ..

They took bit longer in your case. Hopefully all will be alright.

I too received an email from HO saying they need a letter from my business account bank saying that my business is trading. Can I know what stage I am in and how long will it take after i submit the requested letter.

@ kumar197, whenever HO request for additional docs, there is a 90% chance that you will get your visa issued with 2-3weeks after they receive the additional documents.

It means that they are satisfy with all your submitted documents and they just need extra info to take their decision, so if the additional docs are in the right format and as requested then visa is likely to be issued without delay.

In Home Office working policy, whenever additional docs is requested, the caseworker will give the applicant 7days to send such documents and they will also give 2 extra days for the requested docs to be passed to the right department after which decision must be taken on such cases within days.

So relax and wait for your luck mate..
