Few Original Documents lost by Consulate

Hi,
I have had my FamilySettlement application rejected. The BDHC in India has sent back a pack full of the case related documents. It has just come to my notice that there are a few original documents missing. Not sure if its deliberate or just an admin error by the Visa Office. I need to re-apply and hence need those original documents again.

Can anybody advice what to do in this case ? call them up ? Email them ?

Adding to above....
They have not send back the fully-filled Application (VAF4a).

Is this normal ?

I would like to have this back too, so that it helps me in filling out the re-application form (I am going to re-apply)

It's normal not to get the application form back - as to whether the originals should have been returned or not depends on what they were.
