Dear All,

I know this thread is for March EC, I got HSMP approval late January and somehow have not been able to submit my EC till now.

Now this maintenace funds requirement has kicked in and my deadline before expiry of approval is first week in July. I'll be applying from Nigeria, can anyone throw more light on the maintenance funds requirement or is it not applicable to that region (i.e. until summer 08)?

Please, if anyone has more information, I would appreciate very much. Can't find much except the general rules on the website.

Dude, for indian application I came to know that there is no need to show 800 GBP daily amount in bank...even once a month would suffice. No idea about yours...
you better find out british embassy website/email address for your country and mail them asking about this requirement for Visa.
That will be concrete and legal advise to you as people there know the law as soon as any changes or updations take place.

You mention Integra 19th March. What exactly happened? How do you know integra is done?
And any idea of the different status messages on vfs-uk-in website? My status shows: Application received on 25th March. Does this mean that nothing has happened yet?

Hi @firefox,
In my case the HR had informed my manager, so that way I got to know that Integra verification has come. It came to my HR on 24th March (12 days after I had submitted my application at VFS).

It took lot of persuasion and follow-ups from my side to get the verification done. The report was sent on 27th March, if I were to beleive my HR.

There has been cases when the applicant doesn't even know when the integra has been done. It depends on the size and reputation of the organisation you are employed with. They try to do the verification on phone, but if the HR/Admin/Finance guys are reluctant and ask for time, then they request them to fill-up the form, similar to the one we fill during the time of applying, and send it across on mail.

catchme, my status is very similar to yours. The Integra for me was completed on 27th March, via e-mail to HR. Also, the status for me shows the same "Your Application has been forwarded to BHC on 14-Mar-08"

someone had posted that he/she got to know from BHC that integra report was received. Is it the vfsuk.west@vfs-uk-in.com mail id for applicants from western india?

I verified with my ex employer regarding integra. She told about that info was asked by a professional body in relation to visa.
Status remains same for me. Also tried by SMS VISA UK passportnumber to 57333 and same response tht application forwarded on 5 march.
I am going to visit VFS tomorrow or day after tomorrow , hopefully it should be there as I havent opted for courier facility.

I have applied in VFS Chennai on 7t March. Still My HR says they havent got any verfication request from INTEGRA. How can iknow wht would be the problem . Just getting worried as i have thought that the whole process would get completed by 7th April. But still Integra hasnt been done. Any suggestions/advice how to go about this ???????????

I am actually worried about this "Integra form" thing, it makes sense if it is Work Permit or company sponsored visa. I am concerned since I don;t trust my HR, not sure how thy will respond.

There is a guy deepak who does nt posts here but applied on 3 march and got visa on 28 march. Going by same lines, I will be getting it tomorrow if there is no delay. As I opted for pick up delivery from counter, it takes one day more than courier.

Just Want to know is Integra persons are little bit realxed for all HSMP applicants working for MNC (Like Wipro, Infosys, Oracle, Honeywell etc) as before joining this company they all do the same level of background Checking what integra does for HSMP.

Any body working for This all big shots company applied for HSMP have the same feeling or not pls let me know ??

In my husband's case, it was never updated. Always remained the same. Only the HR had informed regarding the form.
