i was confused over this as well. because i entered in UK on HSMP but now i m on Tier 1 General after getting extension n May.

Some one told me the fee will be Tier 1 General Dependant bcz my current status is Tier 1 General.

If someone can please clarify this.

I have not gotten any clear and positive info on this from anyone. I am going to write an email to pak british embassy.. will u also do the same plz.. in my opinion, since we started as HSMP, so HSMP dependent fees should apply, (though since they merged it into Tier1 and Tier1 dependent visa will be given , that is another thing ) .. anyways, official clarification is better.. plz share when u get the response, and i will do the same..

since you are on Tier 1 category, Tier 1 dependant fee would apply.

Sorry but you have already comitted the sin of extending into Tier 1.

confusedHsmp may be u r right, but point is we entered in the UK on HSMP so HSMP rules should apply. May be i m wrong but let us wait for official clarification.

the fee for the dependant will be 94,500 that is the fee of Tier 1 General dependant Not the fee of HSMP Dependant becuase after extension our visa status is Tier 1 not the HSMP. (even if we entered in uk on HSMP).
