Congrats on getting a decison atleast..the OC section means the aplication is ready for dispatch.(don ask me the abbreviation of OC

) since i asked the same to BHC and they said this so.

Also every application from last Monday is getting a similar status online..so nothing to panic and you can wait for your passport.

For your info, when u opted for courier there is no chance you can collect it in person.so jus wait till today or try tracking ur passport thru Bluedart using paspport number as Ref.no.

Another day starts ....Day 20 for me today

...all the veterans of the thread may not be posting through the day as they have all got their results - lion , venky , senthil

but hope to see regular posts and updates from winmano , jason and others till we all get results

Lion , really nice to see you still posting regularly - have you got back your approval letter from BHC. Hope u and others post regularly on the travel threads created by venky

Hi ram and mano ,

i have also sent a mail to BHC just now and waiting for reply.actually i sent my second mail last wed to them ; but never got a reply to that. have they now stopped answering regularly ?

i dont make any individual predictions as such

. i just try to analyse the timeline and forecast a trend - this week week 2 and week 3 of december still to get their results. so next week week 4 dec and week 1 jan can expect - week 4 they were working only 2 days so number of applications received that week must have been lesser in quantity.

BHDC informed me by mail not to contact them by phone or email regarding the status. It is understandable that,

If you are the caseworker and have 30 mails to be replied in the morning before starting to decide on cases, it takes more than half a day.

Let us be reasonable in this aspect and avoid bugging them with emails.
Over the above, we will come to know the status 12 hours before . Thats it.

Just a suggestion from my side.

i got a DND email reply just now that they are still assessing november applications

lets all check update at 3.30pm - all the best to everyone suffering this same hell.

Hi jason , i fully agree with you.

What did you mean though when you said we will get to know the status 12 hours before - ur referring to the online update i guess ?

anyways , you are right - they are wasting half the day on replying to emails- and anyway , email replies are not giving us the right info so we might as well stop - they told senthil to get back 10 days later but he got it stamped later the same day.

we can keep checking the online status and hope for the best - let us bombard with calls and emails after crossing day 25 which has become the standard time now for chennai BHC

Yes, it is comparitive time between your online update and BHC mail.

Do you guys include the submission date when calculating the number of working days? Also, Dec 21 was a holiday for VFS Hyd. Was it the same in other cities and BHC.

mano, you applied 2 working days before me ...dec 20th & dec 27th ..so today is day 22 for you.

they are sending all crazy automated replies

major pressure now from hubby's office to submit his ppt - i have asked him to get it on email from his manager and i am planning to forward that to BHC...not sure if it will make even an iota of difference though

really tensed now.

Anyway u have options to get passport from BHC while processing, but that will not solve the issue.... So getting an email will not help u.....

No plan mano right now - let me see how is processing happening today & tommorrow and then decide what to do. we may need to withdraw hubby's ppt next week , i guess.

VFS and BHC were closed dec 21st till dec 26th.

21st - Id

24th - privelege leave

25th - christmas

26th - boxing day

they reopened on 27th.

One more assumption from my side is , All applications in the last week of December are loaded into their system on 02 Jan 08.

So, that makes 20 the December the last day for the year 07.
