Letter recieved January 28th 2011
Passport submitted 4th Febuary 2011
Passport ready to collect with visa stamped 18th feb 2011
(Visa stamped on passport since 01/02/2001)
All papers recieved and Submitted in Lahore

This has Been my wides process near enough start to finish, if any1 would like any info or anythin at all tht I can help i will try my best. Inshallah all tht r waitin will get there visa very soon gdluck to all

Aoa soz I mid typed the dates

Visa was stamped on passport since 2nd feb 2011

So they had the visa stamped for over 2weeks before they actually asked my wife to pick it up which I think is ridiculous

Also the the question was it from Islamabad or uk visa section answer is from uk visa section

Also my wife submitted on the 4th feb but passport was stamped on 1st feb so I'm thinkn they have to stamp from the 1st of the month

Thanks Ali i will get a e-mail sent out to them and let you no how we get on.
still not heard back anything from the e-mail i sent on Monday and speaking to the solicitor he has also previously e-mailed them with no response and sent a letter in the post.

I spent a good few hours on the phone today trying to get some where but each and every time keep on getting the same response "send an email"

I spoke to city lawyer today who believes we have legal rights to sue but we do not want to go down this line as i am afraid they might delay the case even more.

Bro Zehn that is the confusing thing as you told your wife submitted passport on 4th of Feb and they stamped the visa on 2nd Feb so how it is possible to stamp visa on back dated? and i also received calling letter from UK Visa Section

I know it is confusing for me 2 but I think they have to do it from the start of whatever month u get it so we got our in feb so it was stamped 1st feb inshallah yours will be feb swell then I presume it will also be stamped 1st feb.

Aoa wot date did Ur husband put for prefered date of travel? I think your visa will come around the 4th cos my wides took around 2weeks aswel so inshallah your wont be long :)

Thanks Heres a Update:

I sent them e-mails in a carpet bombing fashion 20+.

We received a letter from the UK border agency in Pakistan last week specifying that the decision should be reviewed, now made a appointment to submit the passport next week once TB test has been done.

i wanted to ask is there any way in speeding up the time they take to review the decision ? as my uncle has taken time off from work and is in pakistan at present.

Aoa I dnt think there's a way to sped it up but when they take the passport write on a paper that you wish for the passport back by 1or 2weeks as that's what my wife did and we got it only a few days after we told them so inshallah if you do the same you will get yours aswel

wow great news Ahmed,

its called call letter which ur uncle received now u just ask ur uncle to make a appointment in Gerry
and submit his wife passport this call letter up to date TB test report and ur uncle passport copy as well.
im sure they will back passport with in 3 weeks with visa stamp. :lol:

dun worry the average timing is 2 to 4 weeks if everything fine in case.
i also submitted my passport 18 feb on call letter. :lol:

Hi ali oh thats good atleast weaubmitted on same day and place so inshallah we should geat the passport back soon. I always chrck everyday on status update with refernce number and it says appllication forwarded to bhc 18/02. Does ur still say that same?

My hubby submitted his passport in Lahore on the 10th feb, he received an email on the 25th feb to state that it is ready for collection - Very fast Alhamdullillah :-)

Family visit visa of 6 months.
Applied thru UKVAC lahore : 15/07/2010
Rejected and passport recived frm UKVAC : 9/8/2010
Appeal sent to Uk embassy Abudhabi: 28/08/2010
Leter recived abot the date of hearing(frm UKAIT): 2/11/2010
Determination recived (appeal allowed) 15/01/2011
Email recived to submit my passport from
Uk embassy abu dhabi: 25/01/2011
passport sent thru UKVAC LHR on : 11/02/2011
Passport recived wih 6 month visa on : 28/02/2011
