kmsr , the VAF2 form i used also did not have date of travel - lets just pray at this point that it will not delay. :cry:

mano, kapil , reachstar and all who got the result today through email or phone - please let us know when your online status on VFS website is updated.

i think vfs would have called kapil to inform that visa granted & ppt is ready for collection or did BHC actually make a call to inform that visa is issued. :shock:

today has been a newsworthy day !! gr8 to see so much progress.

Brothers.....Is it that Hyd applications are processed seperately and Chennai/Bangalore seperately.....I dont think so.............

Don't think so. I applied from BLR on 20th Dec. I'm still waiting.

Prashanth,

I feel, applications received from hyd vfs will be alotted to separate case workers team.

except lion on 22nd, i think no body has got EC :?

What I found out is that, For Hyderabad, it takes two to three days to reach BHC Chennai. I applied on 27th Dec but BHC says they recieved my application on 2nd Jan.

Hi prashanth,
All the applications are not processed according to the VFS branches in south India...

They are only processed according to the date BDHC receives the applications......

They follow a 'QUEUE' procedure irrespective of the VFS branch....

But of course BDHC, mumbai comparatively is meeting the deadline of 15 working days since it is receiving less number of applications..compared to BDHC,chennai.

Do not step Hyd..bad aside because in case workers mind it's date that tingles not the location of application :P


I hope the present trend in BDHC , chennai is roughly 25 to 30 working days.........

for me, it is showing 14th dec.
In my case, HYD VFS sent my application to BHC on the same day :)

I have applied on 4 Jan and the status is forwarded to Chennai BHC on Jan 4 ......

Are there anyone on this forum.....who have apllied through HYD VFS and got VISA stamped......would be gr8 if they can give their timelines....

What say Ram...Jason??????

I'm from a big company in India. So I didnt know which HR they called to check.
But they did not call my manager for enquiry, (Which I gave as reference)

They . So I would take they did not do check, because of the profile of my company.

For me too the VFS website says Äpplication forwarded to BDHC on 27th Dec 2007". But when I spoke to BDHC, they informed me that they recieved the application in the BDHC system on 2nd Jan 08. Dont know which date to take in to account for predictions.

hi kmsr

so far the record is 27 days for lion (shridar) and today is day 27 for rambabu

so i guess your assumption of 25-30 being standard seems reasonable - but kapil has got it in 20 days !! so i feel 20-25 is closer to the standard or average.

the nex few days is going to be real test of our patience , i guess :roll:

Day 21 for me today.
