Asalaam U Alaikum and Ramadhan Mubarak to all.

Just to update you guys my wife will be coming over to the UK on 14th August. I still cant believe that they granted her visa only FOUR WEEKS after submission. Well, All Praise is due to ALLAH(SWT). May HE answer all our DUA's this Ramadhan.

Btw, here is a full list of what we submitted:

1) NIKKAH PAPERS (Urdu and English)
2) NADRA Certificate
3) 6 months wage slips
4) 6 months bank statements
5) P60
6) Letter of Employment
7) Proof of contact (Call Histories, E-mail history)

Wedding Photos
9) Tenancy Agreement
10) Support letter from my mother stating we can stay "rent free"
11) Property report and permission from Estate Agent
12) Local Council Registrars letter with my name shown as a resident
13) Sponsor support letter
14) Attested photocopy of my Passport

I think that is pretty much all of it. One thing I can say is that I made sure that any issues which could possibly lead to problems or delays I addressed in the letter. For example, the fact that this was an arranged marriage and due to Cultural reasons there was no contact before marriage.

I hope the information provided can be of help to anyone. And on a final note it is RAMADHAN so please everyone make lots of DUA for each other.

Can some1 tell me what the ref number looks like,,,coz i have tried to track the progress of my application but it says invalid numbers.

This is what the ref numb looks like,

Does that look right?

Hi General,

The reference should be something like QML/250511/073288/1

QML = MIRPUR, LHR= LAHORE

Place where u submitted/then date of submission/then reference number

Hey.you submitted ur application on 10/06/11.and visa procces take up to 3 month 12 weeks,if you lucky its dealt quick,my advise to you is be a patience have faith on God,please dont panick it wont help.

I have lodged my appeal at loughborough aswell.that what say on my appeal letter where it to appeal it.

normally upto what time we can hear any news from i mean change the status ''ready for collection'' i was told by the BHC my application wont take that much time (Called) becaz i submiited my application within one mnth of refusal i have send emails as well havent received any reply from them i emailed them on 14 july

i am really really missing her, i am not concentrating on any thing

No updates just make lots of dua during this blessed month.. you never know whose dua it is that Allah may well accept.. Remember to make dua at Iftari.. it is surely accepted! IA

Any news for you guys waiting yet? ive been busy sorting the house out and stuff, bachelor life is gonna have to change lol! Missus arrives on the 20th.Got another prob of trying get al of her stuff over, even with the generous 40kgs from PIA, we are gonna be loads over!

Company letter on letter headed stating lenght of job and salary
last 3 years P60
Letter from father authorising me i can stay with my wife as long as i can
letter from Local council about the propert will not be overcrowded
title registry (get from the internet
fuel bills, council tax bill +BT
Last 3months GT mobile call history + card +3 mobile bill highlighting wife number
wedding card +wedding Pics

i couldnt fiind the list but these which i have submitted

I have known my husband for a while and we got married in April 2011. I returned to UK in May and we submitted:

Evidence from my husband (applicant):

1) Marriage certificate (original, English and Nadra)
2) English Certificate
3) T.B. Certificate
4) Mobile records just for May 2011

Evidence from me (Sponsor):

1) Covering Letter
2) Sponsorship Form and Undetaking
3) Full Passport copy certified
4) NICOP Card certified
5) As I live with family, I provided Land Registry office copies, Statutory Declaration from parents, mortgage company statement, council tax bill
6) Land Registry copies for own property which is currently vacant (but did explain in covering letter that we will live there in future)
7) Letter from employer
Cool Wage slips for 8 months
9) Bank statements for 7 months
10) P60
11) Evidence of other savings
12) Letter from HMRC
13) Letter from mobile phone company confirming number
14) Mobile records from June 2010 to March 2011 showing sms and calls 15) 1 greeting card
16) Copy travel ticket
17) Wedding Photos (my husband only submitted 2)

19) Previous travel ticket copy (proving when we originally met)

Peeps need help advice???

if my hubby goes late to pick up passport would they question him do you think he should phone the place up in islamabad and inform them that he is in another city in pak but he is in a waiting list for flite from gilgit to islamabad!!!

has anyone else had any updates or good news!!!

I would advise you to get your hubby to inform them of the situation.. it will cover his back if later they decide to raise an issue on why he dint pick up..

i hav beeen in and out of pakistan to b wiv hubby for the past 2 years..i cme bk to UK in november 2010 and been lookin for a job since ..alhamdulillah its al working out now..so plz rememebr me in ur duas that i have everything sorted and my huby comes soon...propa missin him loads...xx
