@ Kal14; The lady on phone at inis told me that my application is prepared that it's in advance stage of processing, and will be farward to the minister for decision. But last week she told me that they are currently working on my file. But now today she said its ready for submission that it's in advance stage of processing! How long could it take for approval?

Any experience please share pals

If they inis send ur file to minister it's shouldn't take more than 2 to3 weeks to come back which happened to my application..it's only 2 weeks left in this month then holiday 2 weeks..can't actually think any more approval
For this year..I'm sorry but it's look that way..hope I'm wrong..

I actually thought public bodies are service bodies so the closure dates are limited (ie 24, 25, 26 of dec) of course while considering some staff on annual leave (due to huge amount of days the are entitled to!).. anybody have experience what days say local county council close on? that gives a general impression on the days off for INIS employees

Has anyone got an invitation to the ceremony in Jan/Feb next year yet?

My wife has her approval letter and we sent off the photos, fee, and GNIB card last week but no word yet :(

as you have an approval in hand, you are in stronger position to email them and ask for proposed dates for ceremony

it is "department of just and equality, rosana road , tipperary town , tipperary" (to avoid re-routing of the letter to different places)

what is the letter you received is about?

Hi mates
I got a reply when I made an inquiry about next ceremony
From DOJ that it is yet to be finalized with unconfirmed
Date,month and venue
Hope this helps to whom so ever it is concerned
And I also wish all the best and my advanced wishes
To those who r yet to get approvals
Let you all see the sunshine soon for the big day
Thx mates in advance

Hi folks, I personally think there's going to be a citizenship ceremony in mid January 2015 for those holding approvals since the last few weeks and have paid the required fees. I also think that another big citizenship ceremony will hold around March 2015 for all the successful applicants who'll start receiving their approvals as from next week hopefully. My guess pls! My 13th month of applying and still waiting... I'm as well happy! It is what it is! Keep smiling mates! :D
