Hi! Everone,

My observation is :

Visa Appliaction will be placed in the que once High commission receives your integra report.

Integra sends an email to the employer requesting applicant's employment details, some times they call employer and employee.
as soon as employer sends reply mail with details that will be sent to High commission(HC) by integra,
HC case work section will attach that report to the applican't application and put it in the que(FIFO - First come first out).

I applied on 17th Dec at VFS Hyd and waiting for the result.

I have been a regular visitor to this forum ever since I applied for my Entry Clearance (along with my wife's EC) at the Hyderabad VFS and it has given a lot of consolation to me as I was not waiting alone.

Lion's story was one which hooked me on to this forum... and a lot of witty dialogues from all the members lightened my frustration.

Rambabu, you are not the only one from Hyd waiting from the 14th Dec, I would have been the last person to apply on that day in the Hyd VFS Office... so as soon as your EC is decided, I am sure mine would be done either the same day or the next day...

I have been calling the BHC almost daily, and got the same response that it is still being decided upon. But guess what.... Today when I called Chennai BHC at 9.30, the lady did not even take my Passport details, instead she gave me the Chennai VFS number and asked me to call there. They are not giving details on phone any longer!!!

Any other members got this response? Please update...

Hope today or tomorrow I get to know something.

Hello SKD,
I have been calling almost every other alternate day since a week now. And the lady who picks up the call at Chennai BHC either connects you to Chennai VFS directly or gives you the direct number and asks you to call there. At the Chennai VFS,they take your passport number and let you know that status.That is how ,we got to know that our application was processed.

Now I have my fingers crossed,have taken a day off from work and am waiting for the courier guy. It almost 4 now and no courier has arrived. Meanwhile I mailed BHC and was given a waybill number using which I tracked my courier in Bluedart webiste http://www.bluedart.com/ and following are the details that I managed to get :

Pickup Date 28 January 2008
From Chennai
To Bangalore
Status In Transit
Await Delivery Information
Expected Date of Delivery 30 January 2008

So my husband will have to most probably take off tom and receive the courier.

kumar , glad that you posted - we now know that there might be many from week 2 still waiting. Lets hope today's pace of results continues this week.

ram , dont worry about this 3.30 update - keep checking ; they are updating in the evening also and early morning also
