My experience below:

ility criteria: EU citizen, 6 years working in the UK (exercising EEA treaty rights)
Method of application: NCS Brent (£50) sent by DX courier
Date of application: 25/03/2013
Date of receipt by UKBA: 26/03/2013
Date of acknowledgement: 1/04/2013
Date of debit of fees: 2/04/2013 (credit card)

Date of approval: 16/04/2013
Date of Ceremony: 25/06/2013 !!!
Wrong address on the approval letter, got it only because of my amazing neighbour. Be aware that we have only 90 days from the date of the letter, this is how long the certificate is valid for. Never wait too long, call them
without a doubt if you are worried!

UPDATE
My date of birth was incorrect on the certificate, I sent it back to the HO with a copy of my passport, got a corrected one in 10 calendar days (quick!).
Do not send a prepaid envelope, the HO will send you all the documents in their own 1st class envelope.

Its really frustrating to see that people who applied later or earlier all getting results but majority of the people who applied mid march are all waiting, well lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best...

what is more frustrating is to see that one member got his approval after just 2 weeks,don't get me wrong,i'm happy for this member,and i'm just frustrated that most applications get the green light but some are just forgotten.

Date of Ceremony: I will be calling my local council first thing on Monday.

It took just about 2 weeks from fees being taken and application being approved. I am very happy Alhamdulillah.

I hope the same with you all who is expecting approvals soon.

Yes, I had seen this post earlier and it's very sad that earlier applications have to wait this much for even straight forward cases. Just want to go to the HO and see how they deal with the processing with all the applications.

i did not mean it that way,and trust me i won't have a heart attack for the sake of the ukba ,they are just useless..it was just a way of speech and i got just frustrated by all this mascarade ..anyway,i'm chilling out and the sun is good,everyone should enjoy it..and forget about the brown letter,u might be even more excited when u are less expecting it..

finally,my friend received his approval today..he did not believe it when he saw a brown letter coming through his door..lol..after a long wait( since 21/03/2013 ) he received the approval today the 10th dated the 01/07..so one down from the march applications that are still waiting and i hope everyone else would get his by the end of this week..
and for the ceremony my friend have called the council and they asked him to call back tomorrow to book,as the letter he received was an approval and invitation in the same time..
