SET(M) - for wife -

I have applied my wife's SET (M) in july - 2013, biometric submitted in same month. its nearly 6 months we haven't received anything from home office.

Can you please let me know the present timeline for postal application for settlement VISA.

Any new approval in the house please.

My lawyer told me that the rate of refusal nowadays is horrendous. Have applied since March 2013 yet no response even after two letters from my lawyer to the Home Office.

What was the basis of the refusal? Is this the same for Set(O) and Set(M)?

I have submitted my application on 04/10/2013, with biometrics taken on 31/10/2013. I am also still awaiting response. Current Tier 1 General visa expired on 21/10/2013.

Please add myself to the tracker.

Hi Guys, PRAISE GOD.....HALLELUYAH.

Got my ILR approval on Friday 10th, January 2014 after 10 months.

Submitted application on 6th March 2013 at PEO Liverpool
Biometric done same day 6th March 2013
Additional docs submitted 13th March 2013
Approval dated 8th January 2014
Passports, BRP and approval letters received on 10th January 2014

Thank to you guys for all the support and advice.
Moving to the next level for sure.......naturalisation.

I applied for ILR in December 2013 on tier 1 general basis,anyone have any idea which month application is currently inunder processing by UKBA,I know for me it's too long wait to go for the processing mine one.

Thought I would join the party as it's my 4 month anniversary since UKBA received my application.

I submitted a postal application based on a 5 year work permit during which period I have been employed by the same company who sponsered me.

BRP received on 21/02. Still waiting for passports and documents to be returned.
I have recevied a BRP - but, I still have not received an acknowledgement letter, my passport or any of my documents. It's over 2 weeks since the BRP was issued and the 21st was the 2nd attempt at delivery, it was missed on the 18th.
I've noticed most people get their documents back pretty much on the same day as the BRP and I personally am quite concerned at this point - can anyone comment on their experience or general thoughts on this?
I have tried calling the number 0870 606 7766 everyday since last week Thursday, at least 4 tries a day, and the result is the same, the automated message states "Our office is busy" disconnect - how does one go about contacting someone at the HO?
