Specific Scenario

Post by MIM » Mon Apr 14, 2008 3:24 pm

Hello everyone,

I am a work permit holder and my wife came to the uk as my dependent.

Now we have a new born son (3 months - sweet arn't they ?? :-) ).
Meanwhile I had applied for HSMP and received the approval letter.

Now, I think I should be able to apply Visa for my son directly as a
dependent of HSMP holder (If my application is successful) along with
my application. But on Tier1 dependent visa there are some strange
questions

e.g.

C1. Under what nationality did the dependant travel to the UK?

D1. Did the dependant obtain entry clearance or a visa before entering
the UK?

D2. From which country overseas did the dependant obtain entry clearance or a visa before travelling to the UK?
D3. When was the entry clearance or visa issued?

D6. At which port did the dependant enter the UK?
D7. Please give full details of the dependant’s method of entry into the UK
D9. For what purpose did the dependant enter the UK?
D10. When did the dependant arrive in the UK?
D11. What is the dependant’s current immigration status in the UK?

D12. When does the dependant’s current leave expire?
D13. Has the dependant ever remained in the UK beyond the end of their period of leave?
D25. Was this application submitted before the dependant’s leave expired?
D26. Has the dependant’s leave now expired?

How should I answer them.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Thank you very much again to Th for his initial reply to my query..

Regards
MIM

Hi Bhumi,

Dont worry about this. I will show you worse cases where ppl have applied for HSMP along with me and havent received HSMP approval yet, forget the EC or Tier 1.

The HO is falling short of people who would do the job and there are way too many applications. :)

Tier - 1 FLR Application

Post by priteshpjani » Fri Apr 18, 2008 8:11 pm

Hi,

I applied my Tier - 1application on 27th March and money got deduced on 31st March. HO sent letter to provide bank statemnet for even for the week on which application was made (27th march)
i have my bank statements upto 24th march only. do they consider 3 days diff? or i should wait for next statement to come and send as my bank said they can give duplicate statements bt can't stamp and sign as per requirement given on HO site.

Can any one guide after submitting bank statements how long the process generally takes? within 2 week i need to go back to India as well.

Regards,

Pritesh.

UK Tier 1 visas (HSMP unavailable soon)

Post by priteshpjani » Sun Apr 20, 2008 10:54 am

Hi,

Congr8s to all who got things on time. I think I am not in that lucky list.

Does any one has idea, after re-sending bank statements for maintainence how long HO takes to take their decision and send passport back?

I am bit worried as I applied for Tier-1 on 27th March and got letter from HO asking recent bank statements on 17th April thru next day recorded delivery, which i posted on very same day but its not reflecting in their system yet. I just want to know if someone has got the similar case then how long HO took to give their decision.

Regards,

Pritesh.

folks,

Can someone help on which address to send additional documents? I sent docs to durham address mentioned in site on 16th March with next day recorded delivery but still they haven't received it / not updated the system.

Does anyone have idea how long they take to update system and mainly how long they will take to give their verdict?

Pritesh.

BTW guys, I thought I'll let you know, I called on 19th May and the guy from WPUK suggested that they are currently processing applications (Tier1 General) received before 17th of April. which means that any applications sent after this date are still waiting to be allocated to a case worker.

Please update if anyone has got a different information on this. Thanks.
