Also does my wife have to get medical tests done again as her TB certificate has expired due to case going to appeal?

Yes she has to do TB test again.

Hey guys how is everyone? havent been on here for a while! Well we received our court hearing date last week for 12 august but then this tuesday my hubby got a call saying to re-submitt his passport and he got calling letter via email were so pleased this has happend, he is goign to islamabad to submitt it tomorow morning at 9am! does anyone know the current time its taking for passports to get stamped and sent back?

I heard they are quick now.Send passports back in 3 to 5 weeks.

My wife has submitted her passport today at Lahore after decision was overturned a week before.

Will be interesting to see how long they take to return. Inshallaha not too long!

I am not actually sure if they asked her this or not. I will find out from her as I forgot to ask her this question myself as well! lol.

They didnt actually ask her about her intended date of travel and she didnt have to fill it in either anywhere! So am not sure tbh.

Also the status at present says "VAF printing completed on 24/06/2011".

Does anybody know what this means?

Hi, new to the forums but they are indeed helpful. Anybody knows how much long they are taking nowadays after resubmitting the passport (appeal won)?
I heard they complete the 12 week cycle of the appeal case. I got my call letter in 5 weeks time so does this mean they would take 6 weeks in here?

On call letter they said to take 8 weeks from date of decision.As yours case was review so I believe in 6 weeks time(may be sooner as they are very quick these days).

Thanks for the reply. Well, you mean they may take less than 6 weeks too. I read on the forums that many people got it in 2 weeks. I just wonder what would be the best time to resign from my job when i m oblige to 15 days notice period.

Welll, thanks for the reply. I submitted my passport on Monday,July 11. Since 13, my status says "Your visa application has been forwarded to the Embassy for processing. 07/13/2011"

takes about 4 weeks for return of passports

my husband submitted his on 4/7/11, our status changed to 'sent to embassy for processing' 6/7/11 & on 15/7/11 status changed to 'under process @ BHC', the next update I am expecting is 'returned to AC' & then finally 'ready to collect', Inshallah............

as I say the whole process is taking about 4 weeks

we re-submitted following allowed appeal

oh my God really-- Congratulations !! its been a month since i resubmitted my passport-- and my status still says-- forwarded to the embassy-- my call letter arrived after a week--- do you think it will come within 8 weeks? or do they take longer? please, please reply

Hi guys,
after waiting a month of resubmitting my passport-- i received my passport MashAllah on the 6th september, and now I am in London Alhumdullilah. Please do not fret after resubmitting your passport, these people take a normal one month. Also, they might not change status, since my stauts got updated only twice from forwarded to the embassy to return to Ac and then ready for collection. Sometimes, these people never put on Under Process

Still no message for collection

I emailed at abudhabi address and they said your case in process we are doing more checks don't understand after withdrawn of original decision what checks they r doing now...
