@Have Faith: Thank you for your response. I am not too sure about Polio Test, but I would say defo get TB test done again if previous one expired, they want to see that when you clear immigration upon landing in UK, and the date of expiry on test I presume is what they look for too, you don't want it to cause any problems, if solicitors advise different go with their advise :)

Lots of people are hearing, looking as though they are getting through backlogs in sha allah :)

The Polio Immunisation Certificate is a requirement from the Pakistani side in order to LEAVE Pakistan. It's not something UK immigration will ask for but might well be required to board the plane out of Pakistan:

Hi Everyone. Just a quick question. I have emailed my MP about my wife visa application who has then written to Immigration head and got reply by his deputy director which says that "we aim to complete 65% of applications in 4 months" in Islamabad and my wife should receive a decision soon. So can I ask my MP for further help?

I asked my MP as I thought my wife case decision is already overdue but after reading on this forum I believe I need to be more patient.

Also in HO recent correspondence about settlement visa update; they say as of 4th September 2014, their service standard is 60 working days but for new application will have to wait several more months before they get a decision. Now does that mean applicants who has applied before 4th September still fall in their 60 working days standard. Its confusing.

Any suggestions???

Congratulation to those who have received a visa. May Allah give you a happy life. Ameen!

Time line:
Application date: 9th July 2014 at Islamabad
Application not on hold and under process

Ali2014- thank u and my husband had passed a City and guilds English test.

Rudey786- Ameen and thank u and I will continue to do Dua for everyone waiting, u will all get positive responses soon In'Shaa'Allah.

Umeraali- thanks I was thinking the same and advising my husband to get it done again but he mentioned Gerry centre said he didn't need to but I will speak to the solicitor tomorrow, but a polio test has to be done.

ALKB- thanks for that appreciate it

Pug23 I submitted everything for 7 months excluding the call logs, they were provided from the time i got married in 2012.

Sophia20- thank u Hun, I hope so too praying for all.

Snasaa- to be quite honest with u their timings are not accurate, you could be waiting much longer or u could get it very soon. It's just a matter of waiting and see what happens. I waited 9 months and finally got the answer I was waiting for.
