Hi CKP,

Yes you are allowed to send return envelope. I always send one with my application. Its is very helpful as It saves you very precious two days of wait......

[quote="CKP"]Hi KashRiz

I have noticed that, you had sent the Royal Mail pre paid envelop with your application.

Are we allowed to do that ? If it is then, will home office use pre paid envelop instead their own envelop ?

Thanks
CKP

Hi,
Is your case straight forward or you have any point of concern or clarification?...Just wondering but JAN is behaving like SEP 2013 in a way there is no set pattern for results. Any way just chill mate you will get it.

I applied for Ilr on 21st March after my tier 1 appeal was allowed, I was on 3c/3d fom March 2013, now HO have got permission to go to UT, Can I withdraw by fax, and will my ILR application still be valid (i have enrolled for biometrics already(. I am going to see my solicitor tomorrow, I am so worried now. Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks a lot.
I don't think you need to worry if you finish 10 years and withdrew your appeal means HO can't go to UT. However with 3C & 3D you finished 10 yrs and applied for ILR don't need to worry or withdraw your ILR. Please share with us ur solicitors view.

Hi Shahsahab,
Quite a few members have come up with this news that apparently prior to 09th July 2012 FLR(M) dependents are getting 2 years visas and are applying and getting straight ILR on SET(M). This is very good news, but I hope some one can post their experience and we get some clarity on the situation.
One more information that I wanted to clarify on was that, I was going through SET(M) forms and there is a mention of Premium service and extra cost for that, but when you check the fee section there is only one set of fee mentioned, no premium service fee is mentioned there. Any body got any idea about the fee ??? Please share. thanks.
Kind regards

I also thought and hoped that it would be the case according to what the HO calls the "2-year route" rule.
Tier 1 (G) and the old Tier 2 (G) are PBS categories leading to settlement unlike Tier 4, Tier 5 and the old Tier 1 (PSW) categories.

I suppose it's fair that if the spouse is already in a category leading to settlement, then that period should be taken into consideration and aggregated for the required 2 years probation period.
https://www.gov.uk/remain-in-uk-family/eligibility

I'm not sure of any material changes since 6 April 2014 for those on the "2-year rule".
But I think, guidance is better left to experts and gurus to give...

Hello friends.

I have asked my friend whose wife got FLR M and SET M mentioned in previous post. I asked him about Section 7a so he said he had to show£18600 for FLR M AND SET M as well. so it means dependent of Long residency for FLR M / SET M needs to show £18600 but good news is that they can apply SET M direct after getting FLR M if they are before 9th July 2012.

Thanks
KASHIF

Hi, thanks so much for your advice. My solicitor said I need to wait and get a date for UT hearing as this will prolong my 3c & 3d leave, then if I get my Ilr, I can withdraw. If HO refuse to consider my ilr application because I have a hearing, then I need to go the hearing and explain to the judge that I have completed 10 years.

The thing that frustrates me the most is that the FTT judge who granted HO permission (not the one who heard my case), wrote in his decision that at the time of my hearing the Rodriguez case (evidential flexibility) was valid, but when the judge wrote his decision in March, it had been over ruled by court of appeal, that's why he allowed the HO permission to go UT.
Just my luck.
