Salaam everyone,
Got this reply from international inquiry service with regard to our application made on 15/09/2014 "We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWFxxxxx) and date of birth
xx/xx/xxxx) and found that a decision on your application has been delayed
whilst further enquiries are being conducted. Your visa application centre
or the entry clearance officer will contact you once a decision has been
made or, if necessary, during the consideration of your application"
Does it mean we should be prepared for a very long wait.
Good luck to everyone for their applications.

Hey i just got this reply back from the UKVI

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.
We would like to apologise for the delay in responding to you. We
understand that you have been waiting and would like to know about the
current status of your visa application. I have received a response
regarding your escalated case and found that your application status
states:
"Pre assessment and online verification completed. Application in
queue to be assessed by Entry Clearance Officer
". Your patience in this
regard is highly appreciated.
Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer (ECO) will
contact you once your application is fully assessed and a decision has been
made or, if necessary, during the consideration of your application.
Please note: The visa applications are processed and decided by the British
High Commission. Neither our department, nor any of our staff, play any
part or influence the outcome of the visa application.

My wife also applied on the 15/09/14 from mirpur and I received exactly the same email last week. I think from what I've read from other people from different forums who received this reply, they received a outcome fairly quickly after. Further checks are usually employment checks etc. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. Inshallah we will hear a positive outcome soon. Good to know that they are looking at our applications so soon after submitting

Inshallah, fingers crossed. We can probably say that they are assessing the cases on individual basis,as some people are getting the responses quicker than others. So that clearing the backlog thing is not clear to me.

Now what... i have appealed against it that ECO didn't provoke the evidential flexibility bearing in mind that he had 9 months to ask for 3 months missing bank statements. Anyway i blame myself more than anyone. so i have sent an appeal now and have asked them to do Admin Review before going to the court.

so today my wife received a similar email about documents collection and then a phone call from Gerry to come and collect her documents. I am confused now which documents are they talking about when she has already been given refusal letter and her passport back :o

did anyone had the same situation???

I got my hubbys papers looked in to and they rejected it because I sent my papers to PK in January to submit at the end of the month but my hubby didnt get his appointment until first week of Feb

They rejected it only because I did not submit Januarys wage slip. They even acknowledged that I sent further documentation but he said it was after the application date.

Im still going to get it reviewed and Allah swt knows best

1st Application: 2nd Febuary
October (something): Refused as latest wage slip outside 28 days requirement
Documents re- submitted in Mirpur on 07/11/14
2 Visa Processed Emailed received today- 27/01/14
Waiting for RFC call...

Assalamo alikeum All,
We are patiently reviewing this forum since the beginning of this year..
Applied on 28th Feb 2014 and since then waiting very very patiently for a response from BHC.
Have contacted UKVI via their International-faq service numerous times, but to no avail.
even contacted MP in the UK to help, but HO simply replied that due to backlog the post (islamabad) are busy and will get an update in due course.
Our Case is not even on hold as my earnings are well over the requried threshold Alhumdulillah. but even then not sure why & what is hindering BHC to return our application.

Its gone well over their service standard of 24 weeks. have send numerous emails to BHC MP & HO but still no positive response..

we make our case infront of AllAh Subhano'tallah and pray that we and all of my brothers and sisters are taken out of their miseries as soon as possible.. Inn Shaa Allah with a positive outcome.

I am just posting this to stand together with my ikhwan who are in a similar situation.

Thank you

I emailed the documents to them and received an acknowledgment that it had been passed to the correct department and I also sent recorded delivery directly to their office. I think it is sad that THEY are okay to call people and request additional documentation but when I submitted it on my own say-so they do not acknowledge it
