first of all shahjee i am really sorry to hear that someone is don't well in ur family i pray for their health may Allah bless them with sound health.

As you guys advise me to right to case worker i wrote letter letter to case worker who is dealing with my wife FLR(M) explaining him that my wife don't have outstanding criminal prosecutions, i received letter from case worker today saying that it was administrative error on his part and apologise for stress caused and acknowledge that you don't have any outstanding criminal prosecution, and case is on hold because main applicant application has not been decided yet. That is a big relief thanks guys for your valuable suggestions.

Kind Regards
Hi Nasir Bahi,
Thanks for your thoughfulness, just need your prayers.
Really good to know that the case worker has acknowledged his mistake, that is great news. I hope they sort out the application soon. You take care.
Kind regards

Hello forum members can the moderators say their opinion on your wife's case, i can remember one of the moderators saying we can not apply with FLR M for our wife after 6th of APRIL 2014.instead they recommend those who got their ILR on 10 years basis to apply for their wife with FLR FP

Hi khanzada,
My wife also got two years FLR (M) visa recently. The documents I provided were 12 months payslips, 12 months bank statements, my wife's savings account, marriage certificate, English Language certificate. Thats it basically.

Pre July is very grey area and to be honest our spouses shouldn't fall under pre July rules. But becuase it's very confusing, some case workers are allowing our dependents to have two years visa according to their own judgment of rules. In my wife's application, case worker only took 20 minutes to make her decision and she thought it was straight forward and didn't even ask us why I didn't fill Section 7(A), which is financial threshold.

So print out out the transitional arrangements for the pre July dependants and keep it handy in case you need to argue with them.
Good luck....

For FLR (M), you don't need to provide tenancy agreement or utility bills.

6th April rules changes doesn't allow our spouse to qualify as pre July 2012 applicant but it's a bit confusing and case workers get confused as well like everyone else. So you can take the advantage of the confusion by filling section 7(B) instead of 7(A). And after that it all depends on case workers how they interpret new rules. I was in Croydon for my wife and I have to admit it was quick and they were very friendly.
