hashim, i emailed them on 11th december.and stil had no reply..

i emaield them again and they said dont send us the same email again...

Yay! When we add each other just give a little intro so we all know who's who? As many of us on here just put shorthand names/usernames rather than our names!

Thanks Tafee1981, do pray for me as this process is very stressful, have you gone through it?
where did you submit your application? my husband submitted it in Lahore. the status changed to under process at BHC on the 15th of this month!

anyone else feel straining on their relationship because of this ? I love my wife very much but she seems to be angry with me because we haven't found out about the visa yet.

i know the feeling, theres too much tension between us .. i guess we all just want to be with our loved ones

Yep, however my hubby was really supportive, patient and understanding throughout the difficult time, where he would calm me down and explain things would get better. We always apologised and we know it was only due to the visa being refused and us waiting for a decision etc. But its normal.. you just have to be understanding and patient.

on what terms was your visa refused? if you dont mind me asking, ive been away from my husband since october and im missing him like crazy!! still waiting for a response from gerrys :/

We'v been apart for 6 years! Definitely feel the strain from time to time, but itz all worth it-makes u stronger!

GUYS GUYS GUYS...IT IS A STRESSFUL JOURNEY..THIS SEPERATION!..i know!!!!!

I BEEN APART JUST OVER A YEAR..but the only thing thats gets me get along is that to rememebr, its from Allah...he loves us, he has something better in store for us, hes our creator, he puts us thru this pain bcos we r the closest to him more than any1, he wil surely take away this pain for us and wil unite us with our loved ones...

alhamdulillah we have everything, infact think bout we, look at al theos less fortunate than us and we stil complain saying 'we dont hav this' , when we have Everything and stil feel greedy!..
subhanallah!!!..

i pray to Allah that he showers his peace and blessing IN our hearts, takes away this pain from al of us, gives us al sabar and to bring us back to his remembrance..ameen.xx

hi, it should be on a receipt which is given to the applicant once they have submitted the documents

yours should start with LHE/....

It can take up to 12 weeks.. however these days they are issuing visas in just one month. So I hope you don't have to wait three months.

as far as i know, it doesn't make a difference where you submit the application. everyone gets a receipt once they have submitted their applications in

check with your wife about what docs the gerry's people gave her once she given in app.

Did you write down an email address for the applicant? If so, check that email address and there should be an e-mail with the reference number.

As mentioned, its in a different format but you do check it on the VFS site.
