Aslam o alaikum

Alhamdulillah my wife has been granted visa.Total waiting time was just under 3 months.

Date applied : 12/8/2014 at islamabad
VISA granted: 04/11/2014
Doc collected from islamaabd : 5/11/2014

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED

• VAF4A form Printout.
• Appendix 2 of VAF4A.
• Sponsor letter.
• IELTS certificate.
. Degrees and other academic certificates of my wife)this is ignored but its always a good approach if you send the
degrees of the person applying.
• TB certificate.
• Current and Previous passports.
• Photograph x 2.

RELATIONSHIP AND CONTACT
• Nikah Nama (Original).
• Marriage Certificate (Attested by Union Council & Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
• Marriage Registration Certificate (MRC) issued by Govt of Punjab, Pakistan.
• Family Registration Certificate (FRC) issued by NADRA, Govt of Pakistan.
• Photographs of wedding and other time spent together.
• Phone calls record (Uks Landline bill,Screenshots of Viber and skype calls).
• Print out of Airline E-Ticket/invoice.
• Boarding cards.

ACCOMODATION
• No Objection Letter from the landlord.
• Tenancy Agreement.
• Property Inspection Report.

IMMIGRATION STATUS OF SPONSOR IN THE UK -ILR
• Copy of ILR approval letter from Home Office.
• Copy of Bio data & entry/exit pages of my passports.
• Copy of Home Office Biometric Residence Permit.

Evidences of Employment and Finances of Sponsor:-

• Employment letter confirming the length of my employment (7 years) and contract type.
• Statement of earning from Employer ( showing how much i earned in last 12 months prior to the date of application)
• P60s x Last 2 years.
• Bank statements x Last 7 months.
• Payslips x Last 7 months.

Sponsorship undertaking
• FORM (SU07)

i have noticed that most of the time people get their visas rejected by their own mistakes and carelessness.( like some applicants submitted the bank statements or payslips for even 3 months when guidance clearly mentions to submit these docs for last 6 months.
Please read the follwing documents b4 applying and giv 100 percent from your side and leave the rest for Allah Almighty.
Give special care to the financial requirement sections as i think 80% of application success depends on your sponsors financial circumstances.

2. APPENDIX FM-SE

Insha Allah its all about wat documents have been submitted, are they relevant and provide all the information ECO looking for ,then there is no reason visa will not be be granted/delayed.
and yes recently a lot of aug applications have been decided which shows they have started processing fresh application aswell apart from clearing the backlog.
Rest Allah knows the best :)

Salaam

As mentioned a few pages back, we received an email on Monday informing us that our application had been processed, and to wait until the VAC contacted us to collect the documents. We received an email yesterday to collect the documents so my wife visited the VAC and alhamdulillah we received the visa.

I hope everybody else receives the news they have been waiting for soon.

Hi Guys,

Allhamdulillah My hubby just got his Visa!! Very Excited. :D Thank you to all who helped me on this forum and In Sha Allah you will all get your Visa's soon. Ameen. Most people post the documents they sent with the application. I thought I would also put status update requests as well as timeline up for you guys and hopefully it will help you, as a lot of people are asking about these. Hopefully, this will help a lot of people. Don't give up hope, stay strong and In Sha Allah you will all hear good news soon. :)

PAPERS SENT:
I applied with 2 jobs but my main job was over the minimum requirement of £18600. I only submitted a skype call log from May 2014 (when I came back to UK) up until date of application in August. I also changed my name before we submitted the papers. I didn't have my Nikkah Namah but changed my name by Deed poll, got my driving licence and passport changed.
