Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

As mentioned a few pages back, we received an email on Monday informing us that our application had been processed, and to wait until the VAC contacted us to collect the documents. We received an email yesterday to collect the documents so my wife visited the VAC and alhamdulillah we received the visa.

I hope everybody else receives the news they have been waiting for soon.

Allhamdulillah My hubby just got his Visa!! Very Excited. Thank you to all who helped me on this forum and In Sha Allah you will all get your Visa's soon. Ameen. Most people post the documents they sent with the application. I thought I would also put status update requests as well as timeline up for you guys and hopefully it will help you, as a lot of people are asking about these. Hopefully, this will help a lot of people. Don't give up hope, stay strong and In Sha Allah you will all hear good news soon.

looks like Lahore applicants are getting a quicker response than other Visa Application Centres. Islamabad and Mirpur are lagging behind at the moment.

Alhamdulilah people are getting their visa's granted, for those still waiting (like me), we should all do dua and have patience inshallah we too will be granted our visas soon.

You guys might have noticed that people who applied in August, September and October are getting there responses, but there are people who applied before them and are still waiting, i think the reason for this is that the UKVI is playing a very dangerous game in keeping their statistics for processing up.

I would Suggest that we make our MP's as well as our legal advocates aware of our situation. Also we should continuously request updates on our application.

Most of all have patience and faith in Allah, Inshallah he will do what is best for us.

true i applied same day as u from lahore and the latest update i got is pre assessment and online verification conducted , under process for further enquiries , does anyone knows how long can it take further after this . happy to see people r being granted visa quicker than before though .may Allah reunite us all with our spouses very soon insha Allah

I think once the checks are done then the ECO will have all the information needed to make the decision. So it comes down to where the application is in the queue. Some people have received a decision within days of receiving the message and some a few weeks after. From what I have seen on the Panorama program it takes about 10 minutes to process an application once they have all the relevant information in front of them.

when did you last email them? Usually they check things like employment and english test, inshallah it shouldn't be too long. Mine was delayed with further checks for 1 week and then message changed to application in progress. I have checked today but no response from UKVI yet.

Monday I received a reply saying its with an ECO and further enquiries are being conducted. I think hopefully inshallah yours is going to come to a decision now by the looks of it. Did you have a look at the link that I posted it said on there what checks they do and what further checks they do.

Yes as mine,i think its kinnda system error or something,migh check it next week again.

A lot of people have received the "no update" message. It must be an issue with their system. I would try again in about a weeks time, hopefully by then it should be sorted out. In the meantime I would go with the previous message you received from UKVI as to what stage your application is at, I don't think its anything to worry about.
