Yes it was refused and we appealed. But Alhumdhulila it has been over-turned so we don't have to go to hearing.

It was 2 days for us but that might have been to give the agent a bit of time to finish some stuff off. It's not a long waiting time though.

We didn't do this, the Nikah was only in a small village. The agent didn't say anything about it or the people at Gerrys. We had it attested by a notary public.
Where will you be submitting your case? If in ISB then I can give you the contact details of an agent. He charges around 3000-4000 rupees but good at what he does, very helpful!

Im sure you could go there upfront without a appointment but its just a little more expensive.

Thanks to all who helped me out with templates!
I now have all my paperwork as per my post on the previous page including letters and title deeds for property.
I am not using a solicitor so none of my documents are counter signed as I am off to Pakistan next week and hope to submit the application when I am there. Is it a problem not have any docs signed by solicitor?
Also people mention agents in Pakistan, what do they do? Is it worth getting one? Any good ones in Mirpir?

Agents from Pakistan usually just want your money and thats it. From what i've heard they double check your paper work and state they will book an appointment for you and take you there. Booking an appointment is something you could do yourself really. If you want your documents double checked try to find a reliable agent. There is an immigration advice centre in mirpur, immigration solicitor over there is good.
