9 to 13 weeks may be nothing for you but for others it's long time. By the way visas have also been granted for applicants in August which were within the 12 week period.

On another note guys only June Applicants left now after that all applicantions that could have been affected by income will resolved. Then we should be back to normal 12 week waiting times. P.s I know there are people waitng from earlier but Hopefully these should also be resolved soon

@ket1 yes it is my first application.. The process took longer because I had to go on maternity leave and then I wanted to wait till I had gone back to work so there was proof that I had gone but then I went to pak and went back to work when I came back then finally put the case on after 1 year 3 months of marriage and when my son was 5 months.. Such a long process it really is enough to make anyone depressed.. Hope everyone gets their visas soon

Just a comparison of times :

Settlement Visas Lahore , Pakistan

Number of days to process application
% of applications decided

10 days - 2%
15 days - 2%
30 days - 4%
60 days - 14%
90 days - 14%
120 days 19%

Settlement Visa Hyderabad , India

Most applications are processed within 60 days.

Number of days to process application
% of applications decided

15 days - 20%
30 days - 80%
60 days - 100%

As is evident the ECO in Pakistan are a lazy bunch of heartless ********* (< insert your own swear). The backlogs was international not just Pakistan. So that the F*** is taking them so long its just shameful.

People have been waiting for so long its unbelievable. But inshallah it will be done soon. Even though we only applied in August and people have been waiting patiently before us. People who applied after us where getting Visas. this is not right.
