As is evident the ECO in Pakistan are a lazy bunch of heartless ********* (< insert your own swear). The backlogs was international not just Pakistan. So that the F*** is taking them so long its just shameful.

People have been waiting for so long its unbelievable. But inshallah it will be done soon. Even though we only applied in August and people have been waiting patiently before us. People who applied after us where getting Visas. this is not right.

Pakistani applications get scrutinised more so then any other. It's a real shame that they take so long, but we need some sort of petition going so it is mentioned in parliament. All we do is complain and not really take any action.

To those who's spouses have flown over, what did your spouses take with them to the UK. My wife has done her polio, (she got from hospital), she's got her TB still to do as it expired at the start of this month. I told her to bring her application too, anything else?

Any idea what border control will ask her?

It is disgusting..how long does it really take..just goes to show Paki's do like taking the piss..in sha Allah we all get Visa soon
I understand your frustration. But all these ECOs are British not PAK, as usual they treat us like s***. India had just as much as us on hold and they like pakistan are a high-risk country for visa fraud, BUT look how quick their visas a being processed.

They asked my wife where I work, my address and date of our wedding. My wife had a complete set of the application with her along with her TB certificate which expired on the day of travel and Polio wasn't a requirement then.

Yes you would need to do it. Some people have been ok with entering the UK with an expired one, but to be cautious it's better to have it done and valid then not.

Polio certificate became a requirement as of 1st June 2014. It needs to be done.

Salam All,

Please anyone can help,my status is ILR in uk,my daughter born here, currently registered as british citizen, she went paksitan 2months ago with mum on paksitani passport, yesterday my wife she applied for her Right of abode certificate of entitlement because the british passport will take 6months from pakistan,so how long it will take to receive this ROE?
My 2nd question is where we can track the status of the application? we have got this GWF number.
