they are issuing 6 month visitor visas in 3 days ...then why 30 days for 2 years visa ...going by the logic they should give it in 3X4 = 12 days.

that too - integra is additionally verifying about us so after that so long to give 2 year visa.

I think HSMP is the last priority among all the visas issued by BDHC.
Student visa and visitors visa have time lines. But , HSMP is open.

Harvis, I applied along with my wife too... dont think that should be an issue...
The BHC guys do not have any responsibility, they do not care that we have spent so much and applied for the visas (and that pays their salary apart from generating more moolah for UK), they have no qualms in telling us that they will not answer our questions, they do not pick up the phones at all if their volume is more. Ok, we can understand that, but should that not help them clear the volumes faster? How come some from Hyderabad from Dec 14 have got it whereas others are still waiting for more than a week?
Why are they not answerable for their actions? Can these issues be escalated?

Hi all,

I am going to apply for EC (again) this week. Hopefully it shud go well this time.

My consultant said that my funds are low (2 Lakhs in bank account) and she feels thats might cause problem and guiding to show my parents financials as well.

Just now realising that the surname of mine and my fathers name is different (by a letter) and if I am gonna show the sponsor letter then for sure it gonna create prob.

My dads name is different in all the docs concerning him and in all my docs its different.

Friends say that an affidavit and a letter in a stamp paper (notarized) is enough.

Any worthful guidance ?

Arun

Hi All,

Good news ...

The Status on the VFS site did not change on friday. But on saturday VFS couriered the passport to my home address. I was not at home on saturday. Hence could not collect the passport.

I callled up the blue dart. They told they will deliver the passport by 3 pm today.

Hoping to see visa stamped in my passport

Please be informed that we have received your Integra verification report and you file is safe in our office. Please also note that you were informed regarding your status of your application on 28th Jan 08.

Visa Section is currently experiencing a high volume of visa applications, this, and new working procedures associated with the recent change to capturing biometrics data, means that it is taking longer than usual to process visa applications. Our staff is working to reduce the backlog of applications. Please bear with us during this period and do not make any travel plans. However, I am unable to give you a likely date of decision at the moment.

We regret the inconvenience caused.

Chowdary,

Thanks for the information. I think that pushes me back to square one.
They dont entertain calls at the local center. They are going to redirect us to their Chennai office. Chennai Office has the same database lookup that we have with the browser.
