APPLICATION RECEIVED: 17MAY
COA DATED: 8 JUNE
RESIDENT CARD DATED: 21 JULY
RECEIVED IT: 23 JULY

History: applied under EEA wife being self-sufficient (looking after baby) and i was working. Used health-on-line "personal choice" private medical insurance and costed £78 for the three of us (essential cover, option 2,3,4,5 and £500 excess).

this is just half of a story of a long endurance to get EEA family permit (2 rejections).
What was the reason of objection before, just for curiousity
Good luck to everyone, pm me for any specifics etc

first application had short-form birth certificate which does not show parents' names, second application had the long-form birth certificate but we sent copies, not originals so they rejected saying it could be a forgery, eventhough staff check copies against originals before accepting documents.

it was monthly. the website is http://www.health-on-line.co.uk/ and i settled for this coz there were so many conflicting comments on the ever-so-cheap WPA so i didnt want to risk it thats why i chose a higher-tier insurance. ironically, the NHS card came three days ago. besides, the general consensus is that the NHS card is not "private medical insurance" so its better to get private one

Returning UK citizen with non-EEA unmarried partner

Post by NasEEA2 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 10:30 pm

Hi guys,
I am about to send my EEA2 to Liverpool, but have a few questions if any of you would be kind enough to answer or give me advice.

I have accumulated a large amount of documents for my application, but was wondering if I am about to send too much. I would certainly be intimidated if I received all my documents! Any hints from successful applicants?

Applying as unmarried partners, as long as we can show that we were in the same household, we do not need to show dependance. Is this correct?

My UK partner is returning to settle in the UK to study. He was exercising his Treaty rights working in France for 2 years. I guess I should just include the France part of his life in section 5 rather than his future studies in section 7, to highlight that he was exercising his rights before returning (I hope this is clear :? ).

Finally, we have many photos which we could include. When we did the Family Permit in Paris, they took them but seemed to say they did not need them. Should we include them this time anyway? Trying to keep the documents we send to the right amount, not too many but not too little.

Thank you all for help.

Ukba had lost my passport when i requested it back, but today i got a call from ukba and they told me that they found it.But i had ordered a new passport.so they offered me to put RC on a sheet but i said that i will get my passport and would like to be issued on passport.
They gave me ther address and said that they will process on the same day my RC when they received my passport.which would be next week.if i wanted on paper i could have got it by tomorrow as she said they can issue it today as well.
it was so quick b4 two months.May be they told me b4 that they lost my passport thats why they tried to compensate that.

beloved is the belief that there are inherent differences in people's traits and capacities that are entirely due to their race, however defined, and that, as a consequence, justify the different treatment of those people, both socially and legally.

Hi Scarlett, I applied one day after you. Received COA around July 9. Very likely we both will have our RC's in hand by 1st or 2nd week of September given the average times it is taking for others on here. Best of luck!
