I think all results from that period should arrive on the 11th on this month.

Im praying my wife passes aswel. My paperwork is ready just waiting for her to pass the test. Im confident she will.

Sis im sure you husband will pass. Stay strong!
My husband did his on the 14th January BUT the 15th Januray results were out before the 14th Januaray.

They just updated their website after I emailed the Principal they put the 14th January results up.

I know my husband has passed as well insha'Allah

I emailed the principal again and he said that for my husband he has recieved nothing back from the examination board.

those who got their visas refused, it would be helpful to this forum if you could state the reasons given by the ECO

Also a quick question to those with experience o the appeals process. Although I have been to a hearing before, my brain is refusing to co-operate with me at the moment and im struggling to remember if I need to submit anything to the tribunal ie documents that i will rely on. All the new evidence that I am relying on was posted to the tribunal when i lodged the appeal. Am i coorect in assuming that this is then sent off to the ECO in Pakistan so that they are able to reconsider their decision? To date, the ECO has failed to respond to the deadline given to them (30 January 2012) to reach a decision. What happens if the ECO doesn't file the relevant documents- am I required to send copies to the tribunal so that they have the relevant documents to hand when deciding our case??

I know Naila, it is doing my head in. I haven't spoken to my other half for three months and it seems that this pattern is to continue!!!

When we appeal the last time, the whole process took 18 months from start to finish!!!!

What should have happened is that the ECO in Pakistan would have reviewed the information sent when you first submitted the appeal.

If they have overturned the decision they would have submitted a call in letter to you're husband and phoned him.

What you should look out for on the court hearing letter is if the Tribunal has received the information bundle from the British High Commission.

Although, my wife had her visa overturned and call in letter sent on 31st January 2012. I still received a court hearing date. This was because the British High Commission in Islamabad had not notified the Tribunal YET that they had overturned the decision.

So there is still hope, that the BHC haven't notified the tribunal yet. Although, I'm hoping you should have received the call in letter by now.

There should be a line in bold -

"The Tribunal has to date, not / has received these documents".

Its decent news if they haven't received the documents yet because they will still be with the British High commission reviewing the decision.

However, if they have received the documents, then it will be a court hearing.

@ Hashim

Thank you for your reply. No they definitely have not sent anything to the tribunal as it clearly states on the letter

' The notice of receipt issued for this appeal specified that these documents should be filed by January 30 2012. The tribunal has to date, not received these documents. You are required to supply the documents specified in rule 13 without further delay'

So your right there still is some hope...Just so frustrating how if we didn't adhere to deadlines, our case would be dismissed and we wudnt be given the time of day however they are given chance after chance after chance!!!

Hi Syma. This is the first time we have applied for a settlement visa which was back in May 2011. However prior to this we have applied for visitors visas, the first two which were granted within 24 hours! The third application for a visitors visa was rejected and this took 18 months as we appealed against the decision and the decision was overturnered in court. However once we resubmitted our passport, it took 9 months for them to stamp and return it!!!

@ Syma

You learn to be patient. Itz been 6 years now since we've been married!

Insh'allah you'l hear positive news soon.

Has anyone on this forum during this process ever thought about relocating to Pakistan to be with their spouse because that sounds tempting considering the aggro involved with all this visa business! And itz traditional in Pakistani culture as it is for the woman to leave her maternal home and join her in-laws! :) What do u think??
