Salaam All

Guys you are all reading too much into this 2 emails or 1 email. 1 email to say your application has been processed and will be returned to the VAC and the other one from the VAC to say application received by them and ready for collection. So you may not get the VAC email but nevertheless get a phone call, so dont read too much into these things. Stay positive, do Dua for one another, Allah knows best. We received 2 emails and visa was granted, one from Islamabad and one from Karach VAC sent by VFS global to say papers delivered. The visa is issued or refused by Islamabad there email came from starts ISLAMVisainfo and the othe one from VFS Global, subheading application received. Hope this helps.

Thanks

First of all It was my own opinion that if u get email that your application has been concluded that's mean definitely visa because I know some people who got that email they got visa.It doesn't mean at all if u get one email that's mean refuse. Please dont take on heart.I got both email from ISLAMVisaInfo@fco.gov.uk .1st one with GWF:(......) 2nd with Ref:(. ....).

true! I think they will again try to get rid of those applications which are near completion of 90 days to improve their December stats. We witnessed a similar situation in the beginning of November when all applications from 1st two weeks of August were cleared. So keep your fingers crossed all September applicants, you might be the lucky ones to hear a decision on your applications very soon. And also keep praying for others, glad to see old applications being processed and they are nearly done with the back log now

Hi Kehkashan,

As you have been given 33 month visa, it is because you have maximum three months to travel as you'll have to extend your visa at the end for another 2.5 years (30 months). If you reach there within 90 days you will be good with one extension, but if you reach there let say on 91st day you'll have to extend twice to complete your 5 years of stay before you can apply for ILR.

So its not 28 days, it is 90 days....

Hope this helps.

3 days ago had visa refused.
Reasons:
1. salary falling below £18,600.
But the ECO has made a mistake in calculating the wages so will appeal against this.

2. employment letter for 2nd job does not state my gross annual salary. The reason my employer did not put this is because i am paid hourly which can include any amount of overtime over the 12months and also the national minimum wage went up on some of my wage slips. The exact gross annual salary can not be determined beforehand employer told me. For this job each month i am paid a different amount depending on the hours.

Do you think the above explanation will be accepted?
Does anyone have any advice on how to argue against this?

The reason i am appealing not re-applying straight away is because i am changing jobs in around 2-3 weeks time. So would have to wait another 6months to re-apply.
