Hi J,

Haven't got my documents yet. They are on the way through Airmail. Expecting them this week, hopefully.

Will apply for review within 2 days of getting my documents.

Hoping against hopes :)

Wish you luck with your application!

Cheers,
CD

HI Kaff,

Sad to hear about ur rejection.

i think u must get the duplicate degree from the uni. As ur degree is approved by NZQA ( i hope u r from NZ then) u should also attach this letter stating the accreditation.

I think the degree certificate is a must unless u make them understand that the degree certificate was lost. I think for that u will have to submit the proof as police reports etc.

Better option is to get the duplicate degree issued and then re-apply.

IIcool, Thanks for your advise. I will do that once I will get degree.
This has pushed me too far now. I don't want to be in UK in OCT or Nov.
So Really I will take it easy.
By the time I will apply again, I will have to gather all Salary information etc.. Again a hassle and most important same money again...

I am really disappointed that despite of providing my evidance that NZQA assessment report, they didn't even considered it.

Thanks guys for your help.

Just quick question, Can't I challenge them using review, that why you are not considering fact that I have DMC which was provided by the University, only Certificate is missing? Degree Certificate always comes after you have DMC.........?

Any advice?
Kaff

I concur the denial, but whatever you do, i suggest you to make sure you dont abuse their system in any small way. They have all their applicants recorded in their database for future reference.

Hi Kaff,

As you are saying that you are in no hurry to reach UK so yes you should appeal the case (it's free anyway). If it's thru nothing like that will also save $$.

In the mean time also get the duplicate degree issued.

If the appeal also gets rejected then you apply your case afresh with duplicate degree and all other docs.

I got my documents today with letter stating that, they didn't accept that your degree was lost 4 years ago, and you didn't get a chance to get duplicate.

I will apply for review with some more explanation, lets see.

Just wants to confirm that for review do I need to send any documents? I believe not?

Thanks and advices are welcome..

You can call them up and check for the status. I dont think they would have a problem with the checks. You might want to also fax them and tell them before a decision is made, that you would be arranging a courier pickup of documents, that is in case you are arranging for one.

Good Luck !!
