Hi Fawad,

As Asim mentioned, Karachi is well ahead and I got my visa last week. INSHA'ALLAH you'll get your's soon.

All the best.

Thanks Asim , Networkers (not sure about ur name :) ) for your prompt response. Networkers , I applied sometime near you , does that mean i may expect an answer this month probably ? if it is longer , does that mean application is likely to be refused?

when do you think i can expect to hear back?

Hi Fawad, :) you are more than welcome brother. There is no definite answer to how long it will take, but on a rough guess if they are working over Christmas then on third week from this week you should hear something. Have to chased your application recently? What's the current status? They delay by no means should be a sign of refusal, so don't worry INSHA'ALLAH you'll get a good response sooner.

You will be contacted by the Visa Application Centre when your passport and documents are ready for collection. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre before they have contacted you

Networkers,

The reason i did not chase because i didnt want to annoy them and thought this might go against me asking for updates frequently.

Someone told me to check for update once a month....i dont think that chasing them would speed up the process? what do you say? as they are just providing the updates not actually dealing with apps

Hi Fawad,

I chased weekly after completing 8 weeks, not sure why you think it will annoy them. Its your call if you want to do it monthly, but I'll suggest everyone to CHASE WEEKLY.

The complete situation with my husband is he started his job on 7 nov 2013 with a salary of 18900 and just after we applied for the visa his hours got cut down and he also became self employed when this happened (may 2013)

because his hours were reduced he was only getting paid 350 or 450 a month until nov 2013 which had a rise to 650. but in may he started self employment from which, if put together with the employement salary is enough over the year to be 18900. the problem is that from the self employment he used to get cash which was not all banked on a regular basis, what i would like to know is whats the procedure to re apply maybe with this situation or if we can send it off for the review explaing his situation to them do you guys reckon it would help?

1: you have provided employment letter and payslips from ........................ the letter states that your sponsor has been employed with them since 7 nov 2013.<this is correct

2: checks carried out with hmrc in th uk have revealed that they have no record of this employment having been declared to them.<the employment letter from the employer which is on headed paper states the name of the company thats registered with HMRC and clearly shows that they are trading under a different name. so it says that my husband is employed by xyz company that is trading as zzz (zzz is the name on the payslips and bank statements showing that thats where the salary has come from)

3:for tax year 2013_14 hmrc records show an income of 7875 only with an employer called ........... (this is the same company it was also mentioned in employer letter) . jobseeker allowance was your sponsor's only other income during this year.<jobseeker alowance was only for 2 weeks in early 2013 as i said in another post and the income was only 7875 (5 months) because he only started his job in nov and if you add 1575 his monthly salary to 7875 its 9450 which is his 6 months worth of salary and in a year its 18900

4: no employment with ............... is recorded.( is the same as point 2 it clearly shows the names of the company in the emloyment letter) maybe the eco left his reading glasses at home that day)

5: i also note that four of the claimed monthly pay deposits from your sponsor's employer were made within a three week period.(there was cash flow issue with the company which was explained by employer in letter)

6: for tax year 2014-15 hmrc records show that employment with this employer hasd continued at a rate well below income threshold of rules. < this is the only point that i think will create a problem because it is right the payments were below the threshold but he was earning money from self employment which is not declared to the HMRC until the end of the tax year.

these are the reasons for refusal.

the main thing i would like your help with is deciding if its worth doing the review thing because im not even aware of what it is exactly and how long it takes, but would i be able to prove to them that there was self emloyment from say invoices to customers? because there wasnt much of the cash going into the bank account.

Taj

I am not getting a very Clear Picture of ur satuation but From what i see is when ur self employed it has to be atleast more than 1year . Also ur Bank statements shud reflect that 18,900 has been earned thru out the year .

I think the problem with ur is Only one job salary been going in the Bank ..and that other money which they are Saying is ur job seekers allowance ..whATS the profe For that .. If u can present a document that shows that money is being earned and Tax paid ..may be u have a chance then .. how much Tax did he pay .. it has to be around 3k.

Also he didnt update his record in hmrc .. may be he shud get a letter of hmrc ..showing Whrre hes working .. .

Get all These documents in place quick and re apply ..

Or wait For this financial year to finish and keep making those transaction ..and apply on this financial year .. which ends 31st march ..

Hi Guys

I have a weird query and writing in case it has happened to some one else. As some of you may be aware I applied in Feb and got rejected in Oct and reapplied

Anyways in June I was calling UKVI from the number on their website which is fine but after that ANOTHER company in a different name calling themselves UK VISA LONDON starting taking randomn payments from my account. I called up my bank and they noticed that there was a difference in both companies (between the actual visa gerry which took payment in June and this other company)

Not sure if it has happened before but been advised to be cautious especially seeing as the fraudelent company was caling themselves UK VISA therefore do keep an eye on your statements as I only randomnly noticed this month and when I checked my statement it had happened in September when I did not make any calls

Thanks

1st Application: 2nd Febuary
October (something): Refused as latest wage slip outside 28 days requirement
Documents re- submitted in Mirpur on 07/11/14
2 Visa Processed Emailed received today- 27/01/14
Waiting for RFC call...

Not sure but I think they charge to call the number on the website. They say you need to have your card ready for payment details.

This is taken from the site:
'This is a paid service and there is a cost of £1.37 UK Sterling per minute in addition to your standard network charges. Please have a valid credit or debit card ready to process your payment.'

what if i have invoices to customers which show that this is how much money they have paid me?

with jobseekers how it works is you get £50 a week if your not working anywhere

he paid about 800 which he claimed back because you get £10000 alowance each tax year. and he only earned 7875 until april 2014 and about £100 in jobseeker alltogether for 2013 tax year.

Also he didnt update his record in hmrc .. may be he shud get a letter of hmrc ..showing Whrre hes working .. .

he has phoned them today and they have confirmed that his employment with the company is in their records but the self employment he has declare to them in october this year.

thanks i really appreciate your reply by the way

i think if we re apply can he use both amounts from his emplopyment and self employment to make up the 18600?

how does the review work does anyone know anything about that?

Taj14

Either your case is complicated or you made it too complicated. Your best option is to re-apply and remember applying under self employment requires a full years worth of paperwork.
I don't know what "review" is but if you decide to appeal (an oral hearing appeal), you will have to send the documents within 28 days, then ECM will either stick to ECO's refusal decision or he/she may overturn the decision in your favour. If original decision is withheld then you will receive a court hearing date, this whole process can take upto 18 months.
If I was refused with 1 or 2 refusal points then I might have appealed but with as many points as you have listed I would certainly not waste my time in appealing.
May Allah swt make it easy for us all

@Taj14,

To re-apply with self employment you'll have to wait for April 2015 unless you have earned the required amount to make 18600 in 2013-2014 as well.
